I like using coins than this fast pass which is only valid for 24 hours. 
I like to earn coins by completing daily check-ins, voting stones, etc. than getting fast pass.

Why i can't use fast pass on some novel?

Me too i still like the 1st version of obtaining spirit stones and not so difficult of acquiring it..can webnovel go back to its original version???once we run out of coins we could no longer read the novels because of 3 fast pass only per day and between fast past and coins i prepare the coins..hoping for your kind understanding webnovel

Help me.. Maybe I new or not really familiar with the apps.. I'm using webnovel app.. I always received notification about 'coins will be expired...' but I can't find where I can check my balance coin..and I also did'nt know about unlock chapter using coins.. So far I unlock using SS and comfortable using it... But now SS collection using daily check in had been reduced than before.. It's a little upset to me.. So.. Anyone can help me to explain about that coins and where to check the balance.. TQ in advance...

sakuralee0912 it's just a change of name. Spirit stones are now called coins if you updated your app to it's latest ver.
burntpotato it’s not though, puting aside the fast pass stuff they have removed reading time stones/coins and now they have even removed the bonus coins/stones you got when you purchased. 500 stones used to get you the 500 + 100 bonus, that’s completely gone now.
This entire update is one of the most greedy money hungry moves webnovel has ever made.

FPs work fine on all but the novels you have Privilege purchased for. Then you HAVE to use the new Coins. On app the "use Coin to unlock" is huge and right below that is a small use FP to unlock. Online they are the same size. Just need a conversion ability from FPs to coins or Coins to FP. And either stop giving the EXP or make the 2nd 3rd votes worth something to me, like coins.

WN is weeding out the free readers unfortunately. Well, at least there's some other platform since there's no more chance to get coins from daily login. It's their platform. They have the right to do whatever they want to do.
