For those that dont want to go: farming is essentially watching ads to get another virtual currency (points). This currency only accumulates through ads and are mostly seen on fan fiction stories, normally these ads occur at least once every other chapter, sometimes more often.
You do not need to watch the full thing. Yukis farming method turns webnovel into an idle clicker game by adjusting page turning from side swipe to touch, the more you touch the more chapters you skip through, the more chance of ads.
These points in turn are redeemed for coins (spirit stone replacement), discount vouchers, free vouchers etc.

Looks like you they've removed the option to exchange points with coins. You can only exchange them with free vouchers as well as discount vouchers now.
