When ever i log in...i would do my mini missions and hit the watch video to get 5ss but its been a few days now since it doesnt show up... Has anyone else notice??

The watch video task has been removed from the daily rewards. Now, in order to get more coins, you will need to farm for points, and once you have enough points you can exchange them with coins in the store.
Coins is just the new term for SS.
Cantiara How do we farm points? I have read several books where I observed coins entering a bag at the top right corner when I read certain books, however my point total has remained at 0 over the past month. Can you please explain to me how to “farm coins“? Thank You. I read from the iPad Webnovel app.

I'm not sure, I haven't tried it yet. But first thing you'll have to do is to turn on the farming mode toggle in your settings.
Maybe @Yuki_Qing can help you further with your question.

turn on the farming mode (please check at your profile > setting > farming mode)
'search fanfic novel, you can go to explore > tap fanfic > tap power ranking > tap any fanfic there (example no. 1 ranking)
'use page-turning instead of scrolling (double-tap the chapter > tap on display > tap paging).
'slide the page fast as if you calculate a bunch of money in hand
(if you just want to farm instead of reading that novel)
saw some ads, just tap No Thanks or X or at any place in the chapter

coin is spirit stone, you will receive coin or exp if you complete the mission given (each mission have stated the rewards info, many reader get confuse on rewards as some think will get coin/ss instead of exp, vise-versa ).
Farming mode is collect point, not coin=ss. Once you follow above, your point will increase in your golden pouch/point store instead of coin/ss.

DiddilyPuff did you use paging? so weird, maybe you try to restart the apps or clear the cache..or you turn off the farming mode

Yuki_Qing I've done that, and rebooted my phone multiple times. Still nothing.
I tried the coin farming. But i give up. U can keep turning pages till ur finger fall off and get about 10 or 20 coins. Minimum amount u ever need to buy aything is set at 4000. The amount of energy spent if converted to $$$ i guess i can buy easily 50 coins. I guess this is webnovel's intuitive way for us to buy coins. I dont mind webnovel finding more way to make money, but this farming mode is by far most killer move 
Right now eveything invluded u can get 4 fast pass. 1 from daily bonus, 1 from multiplier video, 1 each from power and energy stones. Each pass can unlock 1 chapter till now. So that means 4 free chapter so far. In my opinion its better than previous SS model.
But damn that farming 
How do I exchange them for coins? I can only exchange them for some things which reduce prices.
