ResidentialPsycho Oh. I have the same iPad. The latest WN update no longer works for older iOS versions.
I now use the app on my phone. It’s not as good, because of the smaller screen, but I have cut back on reading now with the limited free options, so it’s not much of an issue.
No more free coins' missions if you are lucky enough to open the App. So to put it bluntly WN is driving it's user away.

ealdgyth Is it true that reading minutes only give experience points? If so, then there isn't much reason to use the app in the first place. It's really cumbersome to begin with, and it crashes all the time anyway. If I actually want to read something, I always have to use my PC instead.
Not experience points (EXP), but just points. The ones that you could also get from the farming mode. You can see how many points you've amassed at the store in your profile tab. There, you can also see the stuff that you could exchange your points for once you accumulate enough of them.
Edit: If your app often crashes, try clearing your cache and reinstall the app.
Cantiara so is it still possible to use the app on older iOS versions? ResidentialPsycho and I have the same issue and iPad. I use the app now on my phone but I really prefer the bigger screen.
Oof, sorry, I only read ResidentialPsycho latest post and saw that his app crashes all the time, without reading the previous posts in this thread.
I have no clue if the app is compatible with iOS version 9.X.X
