If a train was barreling down a track and there were 5 people tied to the tracks ahead, and you were on a bridge between the two, next to a fat/large/hefty person. If u threw the hefty person onto the tracks the train would definitely derail and not injure the five. What would you do? and why?

easy 1vs5 the fat person is dying, I could let do nothing and 5 people would die or I could kill 1 and save 5 people.
If the fat person was your dad/mom/best friend and the 5 people on the rails were your siblings/close friends who would you choose?

Olivia :thinking: I would probably say that I'd still push down the parent/ best friend... But in reality, we'd both probably be screaming for help and then watch them die with tears streaming down our faces.
If there was a train headed towards five people, but you could pull a lever to redirect it onto another track to kill only one person, would you?
Neverfire7 I would (though conflicted). If in the same situation an AI was in charge and made the same choice (considering how automated stuff is becoming nowadays) does that make you feel differently about the choice?
