Well, so far it seems to be better for me than the old one. I can see the ads! And I get points for reading time, too! That's a nice touch.

There's a small discrepancy though. When I watch the little coin animation at the top right of my screen (when I have completed a couple minutes of reading), sometimes it says 2, other times it says 4. But when I go into the history of my reading points gains, it's only showing up as +2 gained, never as +4. Curious.

How are the rest of you feeling about the new farming variant?

    DiddilyPuff Actually, there is no discrepancy. When you see the +4 or +6 or anything like that going into the pouch, it is just accounting for the missed points due to lag. For example, when you start farming a novel, the first ad doesn't put anything in the pouch. The points for that first ad are then accounted and put into the pouch with other points, hence the +4. Just like that, many ads don't show points going into the pouch, but the points are actually accounted for by the system.

        bluerat curious. I thought I was seeing the individual pop-up +2 for each ad while I was checking on the overall reading gains, but I suppose I might have been mistaken.

              How exciting, the points gains work on scrolling for the time bonus, and you can see it happening. The bad thing is, if the title of the chapter is too long, it shows behind the points pouch timer. They should have rolled out this change sooner, but I guess they wanted to use it to soothe ruffled feathers by taking everything away and giving only a little bit back.
