Is there a reason the store hasn't updated yet got over 20,000points but it won't let me buy anything it keeps saying 0/3000
Store
I gather the 0 in 0/3000 means the store is out of stock. There's a limited number of fast passes (I think) to buy, and when they're out, you'll have to wait till next month.
The question mark said that it refreshes weekly at a fixed time. It doesn't. Still it's annoying when things aren't consistent with the help mark
James_Barker
I'm having the very same problem.
James_Barker likewise here
Removed Report Bugs tag. Not a bug.
Why can we only redeem one time
Should be able to redeem till all points are used
Same here I can't redeem any fast pass even I have a sufficient points..
Michael_Ryman that's the dumbest buiness model I think I've heard in forever.
James_Barker they made it this way so you have to spend your hard earned money.
LavishSquirrel
In that case, you haven't heard much. You've also failed to notice that this model helps authors earn a little more - like three peanuts instead of two. But you don't care about that, do you?
Michael_Ryman How much money does the author actually get ? I was spending like $100 a month on 2-4 novels and yet now I cant even use fast passes and the points are less useful. It's so ludicrous on the consumer's side considering i could go by like 9 paperback novels at the store rn for that money

There are numerous threads on that subject, search the forum. Cutting to the chase: from what I hear, authors make a couple of bucks per hour - and that's the popular ones. There's a small handful that make more, and all work 80-100 hour weeks.
I have no idea what you mean when you say you can't use fast passes, I'm also not qualified to advise you on your spending habits. If you find the setup here ludicrous, perhaps you should go to the store and buy those 9 paperback novels instead.
You can use fast passes. Just not on privilege chapters.
Don't buy privilege if you can't afford to unlock the chapters with coins. Privilege, is, as the name suggests, meant for the privileged ones. People who still rely on fast passes to unlock chapters, means they're not privileged enough to purchase the service. If you can afford the service, you should be able to afford the coins as well.
Sounds harsh, but that's just the way it is...

Michael_Ryman LOL nice telling me to stop using the app. I'm talking about the economics here and after your whole thing about the author needing to get paid you shame me for spending money on this app? Lol...hypocritical

Cantiara My point is that before they introduced Fast Pass I was spending a lot of money on the spirit stones/coins and using them for privilege and to unlock the privileged chapters. Now I need to buy extra coins to unlock the privileged chapters since I dont get anys stones/coins for daily rewards. Even Kingdom's Bloodline that releases 1-2 chapters a week froze their releases for normal people for a week and went privileged just to stop the regular readers from using fast pass. I can afford to pay, it just seems ridiculous from a consumer standpoint that it feels like the app is nickle and diming me. It's ridiculous I could buy netflix, hulu, Disney plus, etc for the price of following 2-3 privileged novels

I understand what you're trying to say. But I hope you could also look at it from their business' point of view.
A lot of readers had unfortunately exhaustively benefitted the free SS system from before. One could just stock up free SS to "purchase" Privilege (up to 2500 SS, no problem), which was really at cross purposes with the initial point of the service.
Aside from being a completely different type of business, Netflix and Disney plus are a much bigger operation than Webnovel. Let's say WN has 5-10 million readers, Netflix has 150 million + subscribers. And out of the 5-10 million Webnovel's readers, probably only 20% are paying users. Whereas ALL Netflix users are paying users. So yes, Netflix can afford to offer their subscription service at the price that they're offering. Webnovel needs more paying readers, hence the abolishment of free SS.
So please, if you see the entertainment value of these web novels and you can afford to pay, as you stated, then just pay for the coins. Don't rely on fast passes.
Michael_Ryman not really since I have to pay like 300 bucks to read anything on here. I used to care but WN business practices made me not care. I have bills to pay as an adult. 300+ dollar book isn't in my budget. I can also go to a library and read books similar to these for free. I haven't seen the contact WN gives out but heard that authors don't own what they post. Their book isn't theirs. So can't respect that. Maybe I'm wrong but doesn't change the fact that a single novel cost as much as I could sell my sugar gliders for. $300+
