Aysel_Inara that's hilarious! XD
Usually I would think that’s impossible. The whole reason you wrote the novel was for the theme in question. But now that I entered #101, i feel like I’m going to follow in your footsteps 😂
You just get immersed into the world building and introducing your characters that it takes time to actually get to the theme. Especially a theme of love at first sight like yours 😅
The characters are practically unknown. And to suddenly make them fall inlove early on would have almost no impact if we’re not attached to them.
So kudos to you for prioritizing creating a good story instead of the competition 😁

It's not difficult to find a way to fit the theme from the get go. In my case, I wrote about a science girl who develops her first crush, but goes through strange, dorky reasoning to convince herself that wasn't the case.
Was convinced by someone to write it, so decided to have some fun with a mini-novel, regardless of the outcome.

    Congrats to all who participated!

Haha, yes, actually this plotline was in my mind from a year when I started my Calla Lily, The Eunuch King's Goblin Bride but didn't get a chance how to place it, when this wpc arrived it fitted with it and that's why I barged in.

😆 Since it was there from the start, and an action/mafia thing with technology fusion was something I never attempted before, had to place my efforts into it and that's how I totally forgot that the theme should be placed in the allotted time. But mehh, as long as I got loyal readers, its still worth it, increasing each day, maybe the love I poured in it paid off.

❤Ahh, thank you for understanding & the genuine praise. 🤗

Hahaha 🤣🤣 don't follow my footsteps in that regard. Will be checking yours then, wpc 101 ❤

Aysel_Inara getting loyal readers is definitely the best result, and probably the only reason one enters these competitions.
You make me think it’s actually a good idea to enter these competitions if only for the small exposure alone.

I actually already had a novel under secret identity (#101) but it was far along enough with a good following that it wasn’t worth deleting just for the competition. So i wrote a new one.

And how happy I am that I did. I love my new story and can’t stop writing it. Even if I did end up not getting the theme done in time, it was worth it.

And I’m thankful to say that you made me realize this as well. You lost but still gained so much more.

Besides, now that I’m in the competition, I realized its almost impossible to standout with all the veterans getting all the votes 😓

So I should just focus on building my story up ❤️

Thanks for checking it out! 😊
I’ll definitely check out yours as well, even leave a review after I finish wpc. I’ll leave it in my collection first

        Aww, buddy ❤ thank you.

No matter where you'll land, in or out like me🤣 readers will approach you themselves. The thing matters is that if you're satisfied with the work or not.

Aysel_Inara the story you wrote transcends any wpc ❤️ as long as you're writing what you love it doesn't matter if you won or not. You have loyal readers, a fantastic story lines and an amazing start. Best of luck bae ❤️

          Aww,bae ❤🤗
Thank you for the praise, I too believe the beginning took it all 🤣🤣 yes! That's why I'm continuing it.

              5 days later

It has come to my attention that the only reason why I managed to get 5th place is because TheSleepingTadpole dropped out of the contest. I do not deserve the rewards or even to be mentioned at all.

I apologize for the horrible experience TheSleepingTadpole has undergone - if rumors are to be believed, he suffered harassment and was forced to exit the contest. I would thereby like to extend a gesture and offer him my spot and rewards instead. For others, please check out his story, Road of Legends. It is much better written than whatever I can come up with, and infinitely deserves to win much more than my story does. Clearly something is amiss here - how can his story, which has garnered 225 and over 10 times more votes than I did, not win the contest? Even more so, when his story is so much better written, well developed, edited, proofread, and popular than mine? Just look at the amazing reviews and critical acclaim that his story has earned!

Again, I apologize for the trauma and scandal this has all caused, and as recompense, I would like to direct everyone to TheSleepingTadpole's Road of Legends instead. Give him your support. He needs it much more than me.

Tomoyuki TheSleepingtadpole had been caught using alternate accounts to boost his sprit stone count. When he was confronted with proof for this he reacted aggressively and made very sexist comments to other authors. There are screenshots of the conversation and more on discord.

When he was told to stop making these comments again he reacted badly to this.

Not only this, you need to reach 15K word count which he did not.

JKSManga Hmm, interesting. That makes sense. I thought it was 5,000 words, not 15,000 words.

Weird how he was actively promoting his story on Discord and boasting about his ranking/collections/views/growth then.

Tomoyuki Thats exactly what made him get caught. he had only 300 views and 49 stones on the first day. Then if you checked people who voted with the stones they were all from level 2 accounts that had been made that exact month and had only ever commented on his stories. Finally his collection where only 60 something at the time yet he had 200+ stones. The last thing was every day at the same time he would get 50+ stones the span of 5 minutes. They wouldn't trickle throughout the day and wouldnt increase until the next day. He got called out on this, said it was okay becuse other people were doing the same.

He has even done the same thing for his latest novel mystic healer. The problem is fake votes = real votes. If you fake your way to the top then other pepole actulley start to see your work and vote for it. Webnovel and people dont really care because its true many authors do this. The problem was when he did it in the comp

JKSManga Wow...thanks for clarifying. I hope the people on Discord know about this.
