TearsOfRose I'm not as elitist as other readers are, so I'd say yes.
It delivers exactly what the synopsis promised: an ordinary guy with no super intelligence or inhuman willpower who survives relying solely on the system. There are no nerfs or restrictions in the system as in other novels.
If I were to cite a problem it would be the translator who does not deliver chapters quickly (10/w, 14/w if lucky) and also makes several mistakes (does not bother me since I do not speak English natively) and even skips parts of the chapters that end up causing people not to understand what they are reading (I say it is the translator's fault because since the mistakes happened he did not show up to give an explanation and I do not believe a writer would skip parts like those that were skipped) .
Reading the novel you will feel a certain familiarity, you will even think you know what will happen in the next chapter, but the novel will go in another direction, catching you by surprise.

PS: I had to read through chapter 20 ~ 30 to really start liking the novel, so if you do not have free time, I do not recommend it.

How they work I can explain only the first five levels.

Opening points: Using energy from a crystal drawn from a dimensional monster of a level similar to yours you can open certain points on the legs, arms, wrists, and head.
Armor formation: After opening all the points of your body, you can form a 'net' of energy through your body and with the assistance of a crystal extracted from a dimensional beast of a level higher than yours you can form an armor of the same level as the crystal you used, thus increasing your cultivation.

    Spoiler:

It has not yet been explained why it is only possible to use "King"/"Rainbow" class crystal to form an armor while it is Ordinary Fluxer or why it is possible, since it is not possible to go from ordinary Fluxer to Fluxer silver. lol

Cytric There are no parts skipped from my side, its just the author who changes scenes and speeds up the plot and I did reply to comments in chapters that no parts are skipped like you are thinking unless there is a mistake in the raws provided to me which isn't very likely to happen. As for the mistakes, my naming sense is slightly bad other than that I am confident that every chapter is at the minimum, 95% accurate (that is just the least, it can be more but I can make mistakes too so I don't dare guarantee), other mistakes are usually type or editing mistakes which I try to get corrected asap. As for chapter rate, I do provide at least 14 or more than that. How else do you think, we attained chapter 138 in barely one and half months from time this novel is started. As for whether this novel is good or bad, that is not my decision to make since I don't think there is any novel in the whole world which is loved by all and has no hates.

      (Edit- I forgot that I am the translator even though I don't have a tag :) )

Mercurial So it's really sad that the author makes these kind of mistakes. If it continues like this I'll end up taking another point from my review, even though I really like the setting. The other mistakes I say was what I saw many other people talking about. I did not speak English natively and did not realize technical errors, but I need to talk about them.
I read the GoS part (before sigma starts to translate) that everyone says it's impossible to read without even noticing the problems. lol

Speaking of GoS and Sigma, I say that you launch rate is low because I am accustomed with that of Sigma which is 18~20c/week and GoS is not even Rank # 5 while Shadow Hack is # 1. Do not take it to heart. <3

        Also, thanks for the response.

Cytric I am not related to GOS in any way. I never worked on it. Though I don't know why people keep asking me that.

Cytric Which novels are you reading that you find 14 chaps/week is less. There are very few novels that have >=14chaps/week

Okay I'm having a hard time undertanding things now 😂

Mercurial Is there some part missing during the meeting they have at the city lords mansion? It goes from him coming out of the tower to them talking about rebellion without explaining why

Cytric oh that's a very small sub set of novels that's why you feel 14chap/week is less. I have read almost all of the novels here or at least have given them a try and there are very few novels which have >=14chap/week. I would love to have >14chap/week but most of the novels have around 7-10chap/week release rate so if I see a novel with 14chap/week that's a good speed.

@Mercurial lol people complain about 14 chapters a week. Does anyone like Fishing The Myriad Heavens or Martial Arts Master? Well i do, which is 1-3 mostly a week or 1-2 for FTMH or none for 2 months for MAM which i pretty much gave up on.😭😩😱

Ironcarrot Report this. There is a minimum quota of 10 chapters per month, if the translator does not comply, he is replaced.

Cytric minimum quota of 10 chapters per month

Which does not include all translator/novel. Translator who don't get paid by Qidian are an exception (I guess they earn their money through SS, Ads and Patreon).

Cytric Nah i think its just that FTMH is unpopular and MAM is looking for a translater or other crap. I like SH, I just found it funny people complaining of lack of chapters when there was around 20 last week. Dont wanna report when im leeching. ( Never bought anything )

Qidian has to make clear who gets paid and who is not.
It is difficult to put together a business model when you have these random variations.

You're paying one way or another. This in itself already gives you the right to complain, if Qidian pays them then you have even more reason to complain.

[unknown] Qidian has to make clear who gets paid and who is not.

Cktalon had the same problem, he also didn't know who is paid and who isn't (too lazy to post a picture now)

If the workers don't know, they will probably not tell us.

Sad about the lack of transparency and sad about the lack of people interested in this thread.
I should have done a "Shadow hack: hate thread", wait for the members to bite and then started to respond.
