Stop with this privilege thing to read bulk chapters! It makes it hats to re-read a finished story if the last few chapters are locked behind a Privilege pay wall. Not only that but when some of those chapters become free once more new chapters are added you have to pay for the chapters again! So either make it so after the Privilege runs out you keep the chapters you read or get rid of it completely.

Ebony_Thompson When you buy privilege, you get access to chapters ahead of the Public Releases. You can then use Coins to unlock those chapters. Just open the last Public Release chapter and scroll ahead to see the privilege chapters.
Maybe it isn’t working? Bc I see the privilege there but unable to go ahead. It says next chapter in 4 days.
Ebony_Thompson I presume you got the privilege for the comic, "Beauty and the Beasts". The privilege for that costs 1 Coin and there's only one comic chapter in the privilege stock right now. That is why you don't see anything else. The privilege for comics is new, so I reckon they are still testing out stuff and making sure it works the way it should.

I don’t like the privilege program. It makes it seem like new chapters are up to read, but they aren’t for everyone, just people who pay more. It isn’t enough to have a subscription and pay every month. That won’t get you access. Then people who pay to read have to pay again when they are released to the general public. It’s not worth it, and it’s annoying. Makes me want to cancel my subscription because it seems like release rates have gotten a lot less frequent on top of everything. Just a bad idea. Why not give privilege automatically to subscription holders?

Subscribtion (current version) better option for the coins, that requires you to daily login and get your daily rewards to get you the maximum value out of the money you pay. In short words - you pay less, but you have to keep using the app.
Privledge - OPTIONAL service from the authors, that can strain themselves to write more chapters that can be locked behind it. YOU ARE NOT LOSING ANYTHING BY NOT PUCHARSING IT, as its nothing more than just another way for authors to make money (and if you want to know why everyone likes to use it, it blocks the access to the newest chapters to the most of the fcking pirate sites). If you don't buy it, you are not losing anything. If you want to read even more despite it being way more expensive (actually, from what I know, most authors who use the priveledge, sets the price for as much as you would normally pay for the chapters - the amount of chapters, and gives 99% discount to the priveledged chapters, meaning that you just pay upfront for the entire month worth of chapters) you can buy it, but just like going on a vacation doesn't require you to buy all-inclusive service, so does reading the books on webnovel doesn't require you to pucharse privledge. Is just an additional service.
And no, unlocking privledged chapters won't make them locked once out of privledge.
So in short words - subscribtion is a great deal already, and you want to be given the most expensive service WN has to offer for free? Only because you paid upfront to get nice bonus?
I beg to differ. Before privilege I saw updates every day. Now nothing for days. No point having all these coins anymore. Nothing to read. Only the privileged can see them.
If an author doesn't update his chapters, then the privilege users are stuck with their count as well. Thats the fastest and easiest way to kill your readerbase.
MinxMean There are updates. There were updates before as well at the same times. We just can’t access them without privilege. Now we have to wait an inordinate amount of extra time. Every time it shows an update we can’t read it without privilege and have to wait longer. So yeah it is because of that program.
MotivatedSloth Well right now I have a bunch of coins and fast passes with nothing to unlock. Before privilege I was able to unlock at least a chapter a day in one or more of the titles I follow.
Now I have to wait several days more for the same chapters I previously was able to read as soon as they were released. It’s not a great deal for a subscription when my ability to use coins as desired has been completely eliminated.
Before Webnovel was getting a guaranteed $10 a month from me and maybe an extra $10 if I happened to have more time and wanted to unlock some more chapters in a new selection or a long novel.
Now I’m sitting on 600 coins with 18 fast passes, and cancelled my subscription waiting bored until we plebeians gain access to the chapters only open to the almighty privileged.
By the way all the subscription got me was an extra ten measly coins a day. You act like that’s everything, and yeah in order to get it you have to log in daily.
