Hey guys!

Well, as the post suggests, I need someone to look at my work for grammar errors, especially someone who knows tenses inside out as I have a habit of switching tenses. If you're interested in editing for free AND want the ultimate challenge in editing (I ain't that rich XD), please contact me via Discord so I can hand over the work for you to edit at your own pleasure (and detailed feedback, please! A lot of it!) Here is my Discord for those who are interested, just inform me that you want to edit as soon as I accept you.

Thanks again! .

Yeah, about that... sadly that article or whatever article pertaining tenses ends up whooshing over my head. If you read my story or stories at one point, you'd be surprised. I tried sticking to it, but doesn't work as the change is mid-sentence, not paragraphs, sentences.

For example, it goes from past to present tense or vice versa within said sentence. I don't know where exactly mid-sentence, let alone me correcting it. I would be thinking that the sentence would be fine, however, in most cases, it isn't fine at all. If you read my story, you will see what I meant by that. Even two reviewers picked it up right off the bat, but I can't see it. Hence why I am looking for an editor for that reason.

Then either be ready to pay a few $ per every 1k of words for your story or start reading REAL books in English, while studying the structure of the language. No one is going to just work for you with the premise of maybe earning anything out of it if you can't even put enough effort to learn the basic stuff.

It seems to me that you're just looking for an easy way out. Veronica has given you some awesome resources on how to recognize tense shifts and hence be able to fix it, but you don't seem to want to put in the time and effort to learn it yourselves first. If those articles still end up whooshing over your head -as per your claim- then you probably should go back to learning basic rules of tenses again. And there's nothing wrong with that.

Some authors here are lucky to get themselves a free editor, but when it boils down to improving your writing skills, it's as simple as putting in the time and effort on it.

So you're telling me, you can't tell the difference between tenses? Maybe read the sentences out loud to see if it rings correctly in your ear?

I looked at the articles and they seem pretty easy to understand. What exactly is flying over your head?
