Hey everyone!

Since this will be a long post, I will do my best to summarize the important parts regarding the event/changes to EndlessFantasy before proceeding to write (type) a short introduction about our group.

This October the 11th marks the day EndlessFantasy turns 1! To commemorate this very special day, we will be mass releasing 10-30 chapters of every heavily-stockpiled title assigned to us on Qidian International as well as EndlessFantasy Translations! The mass release begins on October 11th over a period of 4 weeks!

The titles that will have bonus releases over four weeks include:
Hidden Marriage: 60 chapters
Pursuit of the Truth: 40 chapters
When A Mage Revolts: 60 chapters

While I understand that readers would rather see some popular titles like MMORPG: Rebirth of the Legendary Guardian get more releases, we are unable to compromise on that front as the backup chapters we have would not allow us to release those chapters whilst maintaining a stable release rate.

Since our one year subscription of Wordpress is nearing its end, we have also decided to port our database and site by upgrading it. The new site will come loaded with Day/Night Mode and a cleaner look. We are in the midst of working with the web developer to make these improvements so expect to see our completed new site within the coming month! We will retain the same address @ www.endlessfantasytranslations.com so for those of you who frequent our site, fear not!

Next, I’d like to proceed to introduce our group and a few members of our team. EndlessFantasy Translations was founded by my brother (Gamer) and I due to our immense desire to see a title translated to its end. That title was My Father-in-law is Lu Bu.

I have always been a fan of the Three Kingdoms epic set in the Spring and Autum period of Chinese history. How much of it was true? Growing up being exposed to the story in all forms of media such as the book itself, or through games like Dynasty Warriors, or even through foreign interpretations like the manga Sangokushi and The Ravages of Time, I have always felt dissatisfied with the plot progression and how my most hated faction (Sima/Jin) ‘won’ the entire war. My Father-in-law is Lu Bu completely trashed that plotline. It kept me fascinated with characters I knew yet with a plot I could never anticipate.

Unfortunately for us, MFLB had gone through 3 to 4 translators before chapter 150 and it felt like the title was never going to be completely translated. The translator at that time could even disappear for months without a single chapter. Motivated by frustration, we set out to complete the title with the promise to our readers that we will see it to its end (unless DMCA-ed). This was how we came up with our group name, EndlessFantasy.

Three months into the translations, Qidian International contacted us. We felt really skeptical about the idea that the original owners of the title we are translating and many more would be willing to allow us to continue translating. Not just for free, they were even going to pay us to do it! That was when I started pulling more of my friends and family who are interested to try doing something they could enjoy while also making additional income for themselves.

Today, one year since our founding, we have 19 titles under our belt (some pending release and subject to title change).

Alphabetically, they are Age of Cosmic Exploration, Epoch of Twilight, Evil Emperor's Wild Consort, Hidden Marriage, I Am Supreme, Legend of the Supreme Soldier, Masked Knight, MMORPG: Rebirth of the Legendary Guardian, Monster Paradise, My Father-in-law is Lu Bu, Mystical Journey, Pursuit of the Truth, Red Envelope Group of the Three Realms, Shift! The Side-Character Heroine, The Immortal's Poison, The Record of Unusual Creatures, Titan Beneath the Heavens, Venerated Venomous Consort, and When a Mage Revolts.

Naturally, the released titles can also be found on our website, www.endlessfantasytranslations.com.

Now that the group introduction is done, let me introduce some of the members of our team. I’m starting with… myself!

Here’s a picture of me in a helicopter ride. I was on holiday in Grand Canyon and it cost me 200$ for this ride! It’s quite an old photo but I’m not really a photo person so I don’t have better recent ones of clear resolution to show.

So… yeah, my name is Daniel and I used to work as a stockbroker (also known as day trader). Currently, I’m tutoring children in English. I also run EndlessFantasy Translations with my brother and friends. My hobbies include reading manga, light novels and playing games! DotA > LoL by the way! I can’t read Chinese, at all. However, I can speak/understand it well enough to be able to hold a conversation as long as it does not involve technical jargon.

Next up is Insignia A.K.A Adrian. This hunk is my buddy from secondary school (middle school). Knew him all the way back when he was bashing our peers (and teachers) for slighting him. Oh God, those were the days. He’s what I would describe as an all-rounder with experience in many fields.

He once did insurance, then founded a nut butter business that catered to retail outlets nationwide, and then dabbled in web design and printing as well as managing a burger F&B store! I think it’s his dream to pursue every field possible. He’s my partner in EndlessFantasy, and is directly involved in managing a few of our titles such as Epoch of Twilight, I Am Supreme, Hidden Marriage as well as several other unreleased ones.

Now the next person I’m introducing is my bro from university. A.S.B. A.K.A Skeeter is the translator for MMORPG: Rebirth of the Legendary Guardian.

This fatty right here was the first person I thought of asking to try translating with Qidian. It so happened that he had a crappy job as a chef (crappy boss) and he found it unbearable enough to make the switch almost immediately. It’s his dream to cook for people though. Thus, he’s been saving up to migrate to Japan, the capital of otakus.

Ahh, there are just too many people that I want to introduce, yet this is getting a little too long! To be fair to our fellow editors, I’ll be introducing one next. This will be the last one so bear with me!

Tonicquill A.K.A. Bryan was my junior in university as well. He’s the editor for MMORPG: Rebirth of the Legendary Guardian. Bryan used to teach English in a renowned international school in Malaysia. I’ve heard stories about how their teachers would be immediately sacked if they were caught fiddling with their smartphones or even sitting down during their working hours! They also have CCTVs in school apparently.

Anyway, Bryan wanted to pursue his dream of being a writer. He has a WordPress blog with his story up. For those interested, you can try visiting tonicquill.wordpress.com. I guess from the picture above, you’d also be able to infer that Bryan loves cycling. A lot.

Well, that concludes our not-so-brief introduction! I realize that this is way overdue but please do forgive us as life has been real hectic lately. Cheerio my friends!

    Announcement!

To celebrate EFT's birthday, Qidian has decided to gift us with the release of a title without going through the voting process! Please welcome Venerated Venomous Consort (毒妃在上) by Mu Danfeng (穆丹枫)!

      Mogumoguchan

Heeyyy my mogumoguchan friend. Next write up will feature your face right at the top!

Zenobys Lol! Good job dan and Happy Birthday to EFT! Wouldn't it be better to edit the announcement to the main post? XD

Zenobys never read even the synopsis but damn I love extra releases. If it's fun then it's time to get ready for the entire course of fun
