Hello it's me big dumdum again.
When editing my novel say when I am going to change the cover image of the book why is it that it does'nt work
Only works when i do the free things off the site which have limited pictures, not that they are bad just yeah.
Do i have to pay to upload my own cover or how does it work!

Softcakes There are cover size restraints. the pixels can only be 600 wide x 800 tall/height. If your image is too big you could resize it to be smaller but it can't be bigger than 600x800.

Yuyumamoru it all works and I did see that just when I click confirm nothing changes and its stuck so I tried on the app it works but when I reload it resets?
I'm confused lol
Use the PC to update your cover. Then after you save and go back to the book page, press ctrl+F5 to see if the changes set.
If you can, it's best to use the browser version of Inkstone for cover changes. The app version is still iffy at times.
If it still doesn't work maybe ask a Dev/Moderator?

Maybe i have just had bad luck with my connection so it doesn't work.
If it fails to upload (Stays in the resizing pop up) chances are high the scaling is off, as I learned the dimensions specified has to be exact or the uploader pitches a fit. This includes being undersized as well as oversized ie. If your cover is 500 x 700 the uploader still won't accept it.
Now once it changes don't change screens,as I just derped hard I forgot at the bottom of that window is a save button I should have been hitting, so I'd change covers then shift away and see the cover changed back... oblivious to the save button at the bottom of the page 
As the long as the width of the cover is over 600 AND the height is over 800, you should be able to upload the cover without any issue.
Should being the operative word, too big, too small both caused me issues when I did my covers. Course could just be ink stone pitching a fit at me too, also a possibility

But i don't even make it that far i can't even confirm the picture. been trying literally every dimenssion.
It asks me to resize and position the picture but the confirm button isn't working.
Yeah I found that happens to me on PC, I have to visit the website through my tablet to have the confirm button work. I just figure it's the usual WN hates PCs and wants everyone to use their mobile device

Glad that was it, also good to know that the inkstone doesn't hate my rig alone...
