Ooooh I totally misunderstood the Premium Program BETA, I thought there will be a separate pool for chapters compared to Premium for Free (lol).

I was basing it on the info from PFF:

      Veldora Well, since they said it's an event, there is always the chance that they go full on premium in the future with no free chapters, just like how it is in their chinese site. But i think that will lead to too many people leaving and resort to piracy, so i doubt that day will come.

          N0xiety Well, I'm almost numb to them. I keep hoping that won't happen, but...

                  Lomacris I dropped strongest gene from long ago since i felt the premium was coming. It wasn't that good of a novel anyways, i was just reading it for the f*ck of it. These days i can't even bring myself to start a new novel since i know what the future holds... The more novels i read the more costly it will get so i will just stick to one or two of my favourite novels from now on. Used to follow 21 novels, but it seems pointless now. Now i only follow about 5 novels and the rest is picking up dust...

                      N0xiety I'm doing the same. I have a lot of books on my library but I only check for updates on 4 and occasionally catch up to one on my library, and Super Gene was one I started reading again last week. It will be pointless to even start reading new novels, as popular novels with a high release rate will probably turn premium and unpopular novels with a low release rate are not that fun to red, with the sporadic/slow updates.

                        I want to spend the least amount of money to get the premium badge because somewhere in the future it is highly likely that the price will increase, likewise, it may not. Qidian is growing and once it becomes huge it may be for the best or not, lets just hope that Qidian does not become a money grubber once they take all our money XD

                          N0xiety I've said it many times in threads. On the international level the fire here is 10000x worse than just China. Also like you said many will go to piracy and set up reddits (one which already has been up for a while) where new chapters of each book upload here then transfer over to the Reddit/site people use. Anyways long story short if qidian is intelligent and doesn't piss off the international level JUST to make money they will be fine. Hopefully a staff member actually sees this 🔥💪🙏
