_God I'm sorry if I confused anybody by the expression but what I meant to say is that having something like that website, would help a reader to find a novel they like and would like to invest themselves into, faster. As it is now you just have to pray they aren't dropped so any commitment at all could lead to disappointment. Not only would it help readers, authors could also get more space to advertise both their novels and themselves as a writer.
MasterRabbink I'm talking about the uncountable number of novels that QI has available in China and it's size in the raws. Chinese novels are known for their massive word number and big amounts of chapters. A huge number of novels on their original site has 1k+ chapters. Also, we are talking about Chinese novels, not Korean novels, as those are known for their shorter size.
MasterRabbink Im not talking about the translation. I'm talking about the size of the raws

FleetingClouds Even so I don get it with it's bad for them. They could use the pledge site as a way to fish good novels that the authors had passion to finish. It would massively improve QoL of readers and QI alike. You could think of it as NU of originals if it developed well enough. And people don't need to pledge. There are novels on RR which made the writer's pledge or whatever it's called, before. So its not like pledges never existed, it's just that these people didn't know about them. If they get discouraged by a pledge there is no way they would make it to a contract because those are basically the same. You just get paid if you sign the contract
All those people justifying premium when it first came out, saying you could just wait it out and read it for free anyways. Really pro-premium and really vocal about their support, and now that QI suddenly changed their policies without an announcement I don't see them anywhere.
How funny- Edited
MasterRabbink Actually, most novels are longer than 1000 chapters. And a big number of those reach 2k with even some surpassing that number. There are really not many novels with less than 1k chapters and they ussualy have huge chapters, which would boost the price to be about the same as a 1-2k novel
Brodroster Don't want to break it to you, but GT is owned by Webnovel, and the previous translator abandoned the novel to translate something in this website. So don't expect consistency if it this gets picked up here, because it was abandoned here

DaoistPurity Its not a mistake. It's a paywall. It's how it works on their main site too. 90% of the novel requires you to pay and only the first chapters are free. On their most popular novels. The rest are free I believe.
DaoistPurity They are introducing a paywall. I think it's kind of obvious right now. More and more novels are locking the majority of their chapters
Daoist_N They never said it was only going to be 10 chapters. But when people started pointing that out, they got insulted. Literally everyone said that QI was good and premium was awesome and that it was never going to be a paywall, and that WW and anyone who doubted QI was just jealous and stupid.
They even promised we were never gonna see a paywall...
Look what happened now.- Edited
Geraldrold What are you even saying?
I get that English is not your native language (It's not mine either) and the fact that you speak and understand multiple languages is an accomplishment on itself. But please try to write sentences with a little bit of cohesion and that everyone can get the general idea of.- Edited
boglayt143 Or you know, you can just go read other novels on other websites.
There's tonnes of novels out there and I don't know why you limit yourself to this website. Instead of spending all your time obsessed with QI novels, do something else. Because you are the lazy one if you don't even search for other novels. And as far as I know this is the only website that has a SS system so you don't need alt accounts in any other website. Reading is supposed to be a relaxing activity, if you are constantly switching accounts and creating new ones, I don't see the fun in that
