A book I’m reading (Calamity of Tomorrow) was in the trial read (so it only has 60 chapters as usual) but can no longer be found in the trial reads section (it can still be found on webnovel if you search for it though). It’s been a month since it has been updated. I’m just wondering what happens if a book doesn’t get selected to be released? Is the book dropped or what?
What happens to books in Trial Read?
WN should allow for voting in the Trial Read or allow us to spend coins to vote for the novels we like .. kind of give us the edge in getting our favorite novel voted ... getting disappointed in some of the novels being chosen. (js) .. even I still don’t know how the voting works (reading, rating, spending or reading, rating, spending and reviewing)

This is exactly how it works. The more people spend Coins to unlock a book in the Trial Read, the higher its chances of getting picked.

RABBITICOL .. but we should be able to spend coins to vote beside spending it on the chapters .. or give us votes to vote on the trial novel
Jeshii Just Coins aren't enough, there also need to be people willing to read the book. Let's consider that they let you send Gifts to the Trial Read books, then consider this: You have two books and both received 1500 Coins each, but one book received all the Coins from a single person, while the other received the Coins from 10 people. Which one will you pick?
Obviously, the above example isn't very good, but it can make do.

did fast pass works, or must be coins?

Fast pass and coins work but can someone get a list of the discarded books. Because there was one I really liked.
But the fast passes can not be refund after you use them on the trial reading books
