Hey so I'm looking for a novel/novels/series/light or web novel(s)
And what I'm looking for in this/my books are a few things:
Firstly, lately I've been annoyed with like quite a few characters' behavior and personality - so, like, in the past when I've been reading that story before I took a break I didn't notice how often the mc has been demeaned but hadn't responded or wasn't in the wrong but cucks and takes the blame something like that etc... Examples of such stories where it happens atleast in the beginning: imperial God emperor, chaotic sword God (when he meets the water girl and their later interactions). Examples of books where mc is pretty much cool? I guess: emperor's domination (tho he's somewhat a bit too much of a schauvenistic womenizer to my taste (don't get me wrong tho, some is OK, even alot of one or the other sometimes but both annoy especially when he doesn't really treat most other male/other gendered beings decently~ arguably (won't die on that hill tho)) ; against the gods; divine emperor of death~; dragon marked war god; -

characters are ruthless, cruel, vengeful but generally just etc

Secondly, with good world building and story progression - either in terms of world events or like personal story, great if both and with like self improvement and cultivation but those aren't super super important...
Thats mostly it...

Books/stories I've read/am aware of(and liked since those are the ones I'd remeber unless stated otherwise~):
Western:Brandon sandeerson's consmere all books pretty much, wheel of time, kingkiller chronicles, game of thrones (medium liking), the first law, LOTR, lightbringer, dagger and coin, ravens shadow, demon cycle, daemon cycle, etc
Eastern/web: those mentioned above, overlord, black iron's glory, sovereign of the 3 realms, desolate Era, chronicles of sloth, reincarnation of the Strongest sword God, devil's son in law, the amber sword, a will eternal (till 700~),warlock of the magus world, Supreme magus, Carefree Path of dreams,

As u can see I like fantasy, sword and magic, xianxia, gaming elements, leveling, xuanhuan elements, etc

    kazesenken a story with a cool mc that doesn't give a fuck more or less as a main point while world building and story isn't completely compromised(/shit)

        If you don't mind anti-heroes I would definitely suggest Reverend Insanity.

        Other than that, I would suggest my own novels, Blue Phoenix and Overthrowing Fate. Although I am not sure you will enjoy them, from what you have read before, you might.

            I agree with you there, weak-willed protagonists who only get a boost in morale due to some divine power really irk my privates... you know? Lol.

            That said, you mentioning King Killer Chronicles and the LOTR immediately put you in my orbit. Awesome choices. Although I prefer the Mistborn series from Sanderson.
