Yes of course im afraid of death.. but we all know.. people come and go.. try my best as a decent human being and live a full life 
no worries! Just don't mind those people who wants to pin you down.
Yeah, im afraid, but the thing that afraid more is suffer in old age, or illness. There is no advice for afraid of death, that is basic insting of human. Just live your life the best you can.
You know, if you subscribe to the belief that time is an illusion, then all things that ever happened from the time of the big bang to entropy reaching maximum actually happened in an instant, and the human brain is so ineffective at rationalizing this that, in order to comprehend all the information that we have been inundated with throughout our lives, our brains create the illusion of time. The same way we see stars millions of light years away that are already dead, what we believe to be our entire lives is really just us slowly processing everything that has ever happened to us. With this mode of thinking, all of time within the universe has already past, and you are already dead; your brain just cannot understand this yet.

Would it be a contradiction if I say I'm not afraid of death, but I'm afraid of dying (the suffering I'll experience as I die)?
Whether if its caused by maladies of the flesh, a bullet to the stomach, or by drowning, I don't want the experience at all.
I wonder if there'll be a service provider for a quick and easy death in the future?
Hopefully it will be realized before my bones turn brittle, my kidneys shut down, or my brain develops a tumor.

Veldora I know exactly what you mean. Death, oblivion or otherwise, is fine. Pain... Hurts. I'm scared of pain, not death. I'm also scared of saddening the people who care about me, by dying.
On the other hand, if my quality of life is bad then is there really any point in 'living'? Who knows... Certainly not me...

The people you care about, those who cared for you, will perish, given enough time.
Being forgotten doesn't matter, for those who forget will be forgotten, themselves.
Don't worry about trifles, like "leaving your mark", or "proof that you've lived", for everyone is equal in the eyes of Death.

Honestly, though, I'm incredibly terrified of death. Terrified of losing time with my loved ones, terrified of not just my death, but the death of the people around me. But, all in all, death is always something that will eventually happen. You can't tell when it'll happen, but it'll just happen.
My simple advice is to simply just cherish your life. You can think about death every night while trying to sleep, but when you're given a chance to be with your loved ones, to do something for yourself, do it, don't indulge in fantasies of death. Just live life to the fullest and have as little regrets with each passing moment.
