Like the title says is there a way to get alerts for comments on your book that you wrote ? There were a few people who tried to contact me through comments and I didn't actually know till I checked every chapter for comments. I'm new to webnovel so I'm not so sure if there's such a thing . And yes all the normal notification settings are turned on

Oh! My pc website did show the comment notification section but my phone app does not. Just shows there aren't any notifications. Is there a way to fix this?

SecondPersona That shouldn't be the case, since Inkstone & the app inbox have always been fairly synchronized, unless there is a new bug. Can you share screenshots to further explain? Also, this might sound stupid, but check to make sure that your account logged into your phone app is your author account one. Plenty of people have reported false bugs in the past when it was just a case of logging into the wrong account.

yaoyueyi I'm not quite sure how to upload a screenshot here but basically the notification on the phone is blank
It also doesn't show the same things as the web one such as comments etc. The web shows 8 new comment notifications but the phone app does not. It's empty.
About the accounts, I only have the one account so it's pretty impossible to log into the wrong one. :o

Is my phone the weird one, inbox how shows messages which are filled with buy things advertisements and no notifications except one which was that I earned a badge. Plus I can't seem to find the screenshot button.

SecondPersona Host it on an image hosting platform such as imgur. Copy the direct image URL. Then, follow this formatting:

            ![baby yoda](https://i.imgur.com/2cavj0d.gif)

The text inside the brackets is your alt text. You can just put whatever in there. (It won't show up unless the image is broken)

And it should show up like this:

            baby yoda

I guess that since you have checked your notifications on the PC website, the app would automatically assume that they are "seen" or "read" already that's why you didn't get any notification on your phone.

WriterWen Even if you check the notifications on the site, the App will make you see them. Seems like the App's system and the site's system don't work together.

SecondPersona You are in the wrong page of the app. Don't go to notifications or messages. You should be going to Author's. If you don't have Author's in the app, then you probably have not published a story yet - if you did, then either you're logged in with the wrong account on your phone or something.

Tomoyuki I have published a novel but I do not have access to the "author" section on the phone app only the pc web has it. Plus I only have one account so there isn't another account to log into. Thus my frustration.

SecondPersona Log out and log in again. If you have published a novel, you should have access to the author section. If logging in and out doesn't work, uninstall and install the app again.

Possibilities: Did you log in with your Google account on PC, and then log in with your email on your phone? Sometimes that creates problems.

Tomoyuki I tried uninstalling to no avail. Still doesn't show the author section. Also I was careful with my email log in, I chose to log in with email and not Gmail. Any idea if this is a common problem?

SecondPersona try to swipe it to the left or to the right.
Sometimes my app shows only this two opitions without author's notifications, but then I swipe it to the side and it appears. From 2 (messages and notifications) it become 3 - nsgs, notificns and authors.
