I'm sure most of you heard about the hilarious outrage in the past two weeks concerning how some D&D "players" complained that the way orcs are being portrayed is racist.
Don't worry, I myself never really understood how a fictional race with green skin that is famous for its gruesome and evil acts is supposed to be a representation for black people, but those screeching racism don't really know what logic is.
Why am I bringing this up? Well, in the past few days I've read some posts I could only shake my head at. To sum it up some individuals found something they didn't like in a book and started taking jabs at the author, indirectly accusing them of horrible acts like sexual violence.
Some people take note of one event/behavior in a fictional story and the next thing they do is speculate that the author or the group/race they belongs are accepting of those type of things, completely ignoring the fact that it never happened in reality.
Artistic freedom is something that should be valued. Us authors should have complete freedom to write the stories we want without fearing backlash from people who just assume we're heartless monsters.
I don't want someone to judge me as a person based on what a fictional character in my fictional work did.
I'm sure a lot of dark fantasy writers agree. The same goes authors whose books have minors in them or story elements that today's feminists and SJWs don't agree with.
Don't be afraid to write the story you want to tell, and don't be discouraged by a bunch of "morally superior" narcissists.
The line between fiction and reality

Pleasedeteme whoops Just thinking of living whoops scared me. I heard that buying a whoops is as easy as buying candy.. is that true? Also.. the problem with whoops photo by media. Also.. the problem with whoops that are racist. Overly stupid whoops ( whoops is good. But, sometime, they are taking it too far. Strong woman is good. But, acting like a man is the best way for woman is wrong.
Carciphones_02 many would tell you buying a gun is easy, but unless you take the illegal rout it not. Just like most western countries those days feelings are given more room than logic. Feminism and social justice plagued the nation and it would be hard for you to live there unless you submit to their brain washing
Whycanti many would tell you buying a gun is easy, but unless you take the illegal rout it not
getting a gun legally is easy, but that depends on where you live.
Pleasedeteme I don't really care about political correctness
Well.. i hope i don't start a racism war here... Not my intention.( ;∀;)
While I knew that, America is a great country. I bet, living there is like a movie (only me!?fine then..) and every country has its up and down.. I knew that there are good people in America too.
