I have a few questions concerning this and I hope there are some people, who were in the same situation as I am right now and can maybe answer my questions. thx a lot in advance ;)

  1. Free block of Encouraging Originals and ORIGINAL block of Encouraging Originals... Am I featured at both blocks ? and which tab are these exactly... I didn't find them.

  2. 00:00 May 10, 2020. that is chinese time I guess? and how long exactly am I featured? the whole day or just that minute? or hour? or maybe even longer?

  3. What kind of preparations should I make before that day? Should I try to create an extra chapter I can release at that time? Overwork my synopsis even though I have to do that anyway some time now...

  4. I don't have a cover right now. How can I get a professional looking (for free no money...) or is there a way I can easily create one myself? I heard once that webnovel creates some of them.. can I ask them for help?

  5. How big is the advertisement effect of these recommendations? How many views can I expect?
    I have right now released 11 chaps + 2 aux chaps. (18.38k words!) and 5914 views. If everything continues to grow as stable as right now than I will have at that point in time 7k - 7.5k views and more than 20k released words.
    So what do you think how many new views will I gain? 10k? 100k?... I don't know
    I think a lot might depend on how good my cover and synopsis are...

6.The current recommendation position may change at any time, and the specific recommendation position is subject to Webnovel's display.
That sentence is written under the one I posted earlier. What does it mean? Can they still cancel the recommendation? or do they only might change the time they are going to recommend me? or do they only change the position?

Those were nearly all my questions. If there are some of you, who were in my situation, it would be cool if you could tell me how big the advertisement effect was for you. Powerstones, Collections, Views..

    I got something like this I can't tell you if it affected me in any way or not, everything remained the same as I observe on the statistics tab of my novel no apparent +ve observed by me.

        How many chaps did you have released at that point in time?

            Basically for that day your novel will appear in the stated section of the explore tab. Just means that users will easily be able to find your book as soon as they open that section as a recommended read.

            You need prepare nothing, though it is advised that if you are unhappy with your current cover art and synopsis then now might be the time to switch them out, being eye catching and easy to understand from a small blurb never hurts but it's not required.

            As for how big an effect it is, depends on your book. The big thing I took away from my own time recommended and seeing Regnov show his own recommendation is that like him, shortly after this advertisement I was offered a contract with webnovel, so your book could be looking at being extended an offer in the near future.

            Keep in mind this last bit is just a guess and not a guarantee though, so refreshing yourself on what you want the future to be is also something to think about in case this series of events does play out like I surmise but don't take it as set in stone.

              Darth_Xiane A contract would be cool. But you only earn money with every chapter after 200k words or?
              So I would have to release 115 - 120 chapters before I earn a single Dollar?!? Is that right or how exactly is it?

                  Well for myself I got offered a contract around I think chapters 60 or 70 of my book, each chapter is on average 2k words. The contract itself requests that you maintain a minimum word count per chapter of 1.5k.

                  As for how much you can earn, better to hop on the discord and ask contracted authors how much they wrote before seeing an income (won't say profit as generally 1 coin equates to I think 2 cents). While I was offered a contract I didn't take it, so I can't comment on the value.

                      I got recommended for the same time! Woehoe, we're aspiring author brother. Although I have about 24k words, so maybe you're doing a little better to be recommended earlier 😂

                        Regnov No, what I mean is that you can get contracted earlier of course but only every word after 200k words is payed. The earlier chapters are mostly free aren't they?

I felt more like it was because I released everyday for around a week a chapter with an average of more than 1700 words... I got this recommended message shortly after I released my eleventh chapter...
                            If you want to compare... I have 98 collections right now.. but I got 6 new last hour. I don't know why but my collections didn't increase to 104 after that so maybe someone pushed again and again add to library... I don't know how that function works XD

                                    Darth_Xiane Can I ask why you didn't want it? As far as I know they don't force you to release every day a chapter so it seems to be an easy way to earn some money even if you have already a job...

                                        I don't know who told you about the 200k words, but as far as I know, it's not true.

                                        You choose when you want to go premium, then you earn from your premium chapters. You earn 2 cents per every 200 words, so a 1,600-word chapter would get you 16 cents. Minimum guaranteed sum assures that you earn $200 monthly for the first 4 months as long as you publish 1,500 words daily. You must upload a chapter everyday - it is not by word count, so don't upload 45,000 words and call it a day - make sure you schedule a chapter everyday and you'll get $200.

                                        Your content editor will advise you when to go premium, but most people will start around Chapter 50+. Some choose to start around Chapter 100+. It's entirely up to you.

                                              SuperSilentSin The editor will contact you when they offer you a contract. You only get 50% of the revenue, so I assume the other 50% goes into paying your editor, administrative stuff, advertising and other costs.

                                                    Regnov You can search his name in the toolbar. His book seems to be called Summoner Sovereign and has 215 free chapters. From then on it is premium so I guess it is save to say that he is contracted.
