Ouroboros_Infeos There are tons of novels with that kind of genre. But not the whole pie though since the fundamental aspect of the novel itself would be empty and hollow.

I have yet to read one in here (since its all filled with wish fulfilling one's). With your specified genre of course.

There is a few that fits your criteria but its a Korean and Japanese works:
Mainly:

Overlord
Dungeon Defense
Kaifuku Jutsushi no Yarinaoshi ~ Sokushi Mahou to Skill Copy no Choetsu Heal

Regnov That's precisely my point. The whole "strong eats the weak" makes no sense, because such weaklings would have died long ago. The authors often declare that "this is a world where strong eats the weak." Then you have weak arrogant young masters who fall to one punch from the main characters. You have stronger servants and experts serving weaker masters because of "clan's names" and whatever. And the main character always starts off in the weakest city by some chance, and always moves to a new map with stronger people whenever he reaches the level cap. Wait, that makes no sense - if this is a "strong eat the weak" world, why hasn't that city or empire or whatever been eaten by the strongest powers yet? Why is the protagonist always given the chance to level up from the weakest? What strong eat the weak BS? It's only an excuse for the protagonist to do whatever he wants and gets away with it.

Also, by that logic, everyone would have killed each other long ago. Civilization would have collapsed. You can't have societies where people kill each other over the slightest of grievances and get away with it - genocide would lead to an eventual collapse. How would any of these arrogant young masters and their families survive? They literally go around killing people without knowing who they are, but if a single offense would cause their clans to be wiped out, they would have been destroyed when they pick on the wrong person. But no, it's only the protagonist they pick on who is strong enough to destroy them.

The whole point of the "strong eat the weak" in other novels are really nothing but masks to cover the true point of the MC as "The One" "The Overpowered" and the "Plot Smasher".

Since theologies like the rule of the jungle for example do exist. But wish fulfilling novels and other cultivation novels doesn't really follow its true and fundamental meaning.

So to ask and answer this incoming argument has a really pretty and simple conclusion.

What kind of candy do you want or prefer?

Ans: We prefer anything that are fit to our taste buds.

Conclusion: We all have our distinctive tastes, only the selected few wants that full pie since we only want that cheery on top, not the pie itself.

That itself is a my logical answer.

RABBITICOL ....well yeah my sugestion post transformed into a debate about "strong eats the weak". though it was interesting hahah

Regnov Exiled clan was it? it was sitting in my library for a week or so, thx for remainder I will read it today

Ouroboros_Infeos I don't really understand the term 'peace lover idiot'.

My mc is definitely not a peace lover, but is an idiot for sure while been ruthless and overpowered.

Generally, my novel is not a bl but I will occasionally insert some 'bromance' scenes to satisfy my own desires.

Regnov For some reason this reminded me of the first time I played Skyrim. I wanted to make a saintly character because I generally don’t like doing bad things even in games. Just makes me feel sick inside. But I went to look at some pottery on the shelf, and the stupid thing stole it because the controls don’t let you just look at something like that. I didn’t mean to steal it and tried to put it back, but it was too late! The peasant I was visiting began beating me to death. Not wanting to die I defend myself, but I couldn’t just knock him out. He died. Then his wife attacked me, and the neighbor came over and attacked me. It was a massacre, but it didn’t stop there. They had a child, and the first thing out of his mouth was, “One day I’ll find you and get my revenge!” So I sighed and determined that “Oh hell no! I’m not going to deal with that!” So I tried to kill the kid, but he wouldn’t die! You can’t kill kids in the game. Then the whole village wanted to kill me. So finally I gave up and restarted, careful not to touch anything!
