I have been thinking that the name 'The Crystals' doesn't sound flashy. So, I thought I might change the name. But what are the consequences of changing the name of a novel.
Please let me know. Good or bad. Every thing.
Changing title.
PrinceofLightning hey bro if you are thinking of changing the name you can give a notice to your readers 1 or 2 week ago.

What do you think about the consequences btw?
PrinceofLightning Let me see, some readers will see a unknown novel on their library and will say"F*** Webnovel again a bug or something adding random books to my library"and will remove it instantly.
And some other readers "Hey when did I add this book?? Let's check it out".
After a few minutes.....
"Oh it's the same book by Prince Of , just it's name is changed, phew thank god I checked it before removing it,or else I would have thrown one of my best novel."
These are the two reactions that people will have.
Hope you like my mini story.
As TokyoAnime7 mentions it's best to give notice prior to the change and see how your readership reacts.
Look at webnovel for a prime example of reactions, they changed paid currency from spirit stones to coins and half the user base flipped their proverbial shit. Name still got changed and nothing is different about them, but those with nostalgia glasses stuffed up their nostrils to this day give WN crap about the name change.
PrinceofLightning Also, aside from giving readers a notice 1-2 weeks, use the SAME exact cover for at least 1-2 weeks after you change the title (the cover should have the new titles, but the image should be the same), so that for new readers who didn't catch up to the 1-2 weeks notice would still know its your book, but with just a different title.
