thanks, i'll check them

I recommend “It’s not easy to be a man after traveling to the future”.

There are teases to potential romance but considering how the MC has had practically zero romantic interaction with another character after 1200 chapters I think this can safely be classified as minimal romance.

Well... romance is starting to appear after chapter 1200. Still tons of action though.

Ihe tbh most urban fantasy books I've read from the US with a female lead tend to have 'romance' too.

I honestly don't think it's possible to have a female lead book without romance or outright intercourse being a massive factor in it. It seems to be rather hardwired in female authors.

The few that do not focus on romance or potential romance all the time usuay aren't in subjects I'm interested in either so I can't make a recommendation either.

I hope some of the other people here will know some novels fitting the bill of one of the following tags:

        System
        Reincarnation
        Urban Fantasy
        Fantasy world
        Sci-fi
        Space opera

Mostly tough, I stick to fanfics anyway save for the few trial reads every now and then...

          Doomsday wonderland fits your tastes.
It's a mix of different genres, including horror, adventure, and fantasy. While the beginning ten chapters alludes to the MC's boyfriend, you'll find that he quickly exits her life...
My only gripe is that it's been dropped, although I have hopes that in the future, it'll be picked up once more.

BleakLine when did they drop it? I've been away from webnovel but im a massive fan. You mean the translator dropped it right? Not the author?

The empress' livestream theoretically has romance, but we're over 600 chps in without any romance drama. The story so far has completely focused on the female leads progress towards becoming empress.

Rather curious and glad that someone is looking for female lead stories without romance _ It's probably something that you'd be hard-pressed to find as most books written for females are geared towards emotions, and one of them is love. (Or what they assume to be love) Anyhow, gonna stick around for more recommendations to be given :D

You'll probably roll your eye as I recommend my own books as it does include some romance, but I'd like to think that it also focuses on the heroine's/villainess' growth as a person. Both of them are actually lonely people who'll find the wonder of having friends at their side (and not only an ML smh)

Mr. Moon Rabbit, I'm Not Yours

The protagonist is a young university woman who lives a rather quiet life--if not a lonesome one. It changes when a certain spirit comes down from the moon but taking care of them is not all fun and games. Hiding from cultivators, secret societies and other interested individuals is harder than one may think.

                Villainess of Hearts

When the Queen of Hearts is exiled by her husband and killed by her own lover--she's ready to finally move on to the afterlife. However, when Time gives her a chance to go back in the past, she must attempt to find a way to change her future.
