The "add your friend to get more xp" is really dumb !
I'm a french university student and it has been 4 to 5 years since i started reading web novels, but still to this day i found no one who share the same passion !
I managed to make a friend used to read in english but this dumbass only want to read manga !
Most of my friend can't even read in english so don't even think about having them read chinese novel when the market isn't as popular as the japanese's market with its manga and anime....

With this dumb system even though I'm here on this website everyday i'll never be able to gain any level ! And I dare to say that most people don't have many friend that like chinese novels... even less 10 of them...
So if Qidian think that having an average of 10 friend that like chinese novel is a standard !
I say we make the "Friendless Daoist Sect" !
Obviously I wouldn't dare to chase after the position of Sect Master... But Vice-sect Master or 1st Chief Elder wouldn't be so bad....

    YueZise True, I don't have friends who read Web novels but most watch anime and read Manga. Web novels are more time consuming and they are lazy to read.

    I only met couple people who reads.

        KingBiBiK Exactly ! A friend of mine learned english when i recommanded him Tate no Yuusha but instead of reading the novel that is complete, he prefer to wait for the manga... If you like the series watch it all you dumbass !

        But yeah, recently Japanese novel just became popular in France (for hardcore fans) but even then they can't bother themselves to read in english or just bring their passion to a next level !
        Hell i was the worst of my school in english before i started to learn it to read more manga !
        and then i went to read light novels !
        And here I am reading Chinese novels !
        And now I'm learning Japanese and searching for place to learn Chinese !

        Lazyness is not an excuse to avoid reading what you like !
        You're a fan ? Then take what you can !
        You just like manga ? Fine then go read where there is the most chapters translated !
        If you dare to use laziness to avoid what you like I'll beat you up and spit on you !
        Especially when it translated in a language that you're supposed to master for your future !
        In these day people say that they live for their passions but don't even dare to say you're passionate when you can't even read the origin of your favorite anime !

        ....Sorry i just read the latest chapter of IRAS... Zhang Ye and Secretary Bai were just too godly, my spirit was on fire....

            I am from africa man. in a country called somalia which has been in civil wars for almost 3 decades now. So i highly doubt my friends will wanna read these novels. it took me all my life just to get them to watch anime man. God bless my seniority

              YueZise Haha I started with movies, then to anime, then to manga and finally to web novels. What I like abt web novels are you get more detail compared to its anime or manga counterpart.

                People don't have time to read and most prefer watching something over reading.
                Also most people will feel reluctant to start something new and stick with it.

                                                kulmai It's an option I could take when starting Uni this year. Either way I started learning it the hard way : Take a manga, a google translate page and read.... I learn english that way too

                                                    Any one else got problems earning the daily xp from some of the objectives? ive caught up on all my books ive been reading, yet I never get the xp for catching up on them....
