I am a fellow avid reader here on Webnovel and have decided that the only way to bring up the attention of the admins would be to start a discussion on the online forums so here's my take.

As an avid reader and game enthusiast, I was enthralled by the game novel which has both game elements and subtle OP protagonist hints. However, recently, around a week ago, The Boss Behind The Game suddenly stopped updating along with other favourite classics of mine such as Mini Worlds of Endless Fun Awaits and after checking in today, there is still no change in the number of chapters, suggesting that they have been stopped. If any other Webnovel user knows any other novels with the same situation where a webnovel which is not written on Qidian like Realm of Myths and Legends and that webnovel can be found on a or several MTL sites, please respond under this discussion to bring attention to this matter and hopefully get the higher ups of Webnovel to fix it.

Also, as a side note, I will be posting a discussion for old novels which failed Trial Read and show why the current voting system is not suitable.

When the updates stop and the Privileged Chapters (slowly) all become available, it means the novel has been dropped because it's not profitable enough. The translator is contacted by management saying they will no longer pay to have new chapters translated. There will be no message to the readers, not in the form of a chapter note nor on the forum. It will simply stop and that's all. They still have the translation rights, so nobody will touch it. And if you don't like this, too bad.

They will continue to release 2+ new translated novels every week, flooding the market. Any novel that does not generate enough profit will be dropped. It doesn't matter if it's 100 or 1000 chapters into the translated story. There is zero commitment to finish a project that has been started. This will continue until the online readers are fed up and don't bother starting a story until it's completely finished, thus killing the web novel format.

    You can do that, but I think there probably already are a few posts like that.
    Too be honest, most (like over 95%) of the forum posts are ignored by the webnovel officials.
    It's really only used by readers to discuss amongst ourselves and to vent our frustrations.

              wayan88 You could figure out the original chinese title for the novel and read it on a machine translation (mtl) site.

                  Taming Master was great and they stopped it when it was getting extremely exciting. Every site I could find it on stop at the same chapter

                          Belkar Senior, may I ask if the community or the admins hate Apocalypse novels since there was a pretty good pick only a year ago called Rebirth: City Besieged by Zombies. It was like I Have A Mansion In The Post-Apocalyptic World except without the tech part. Yet there were many people putting diss reviews on it though most of them were authors of small novels that weren't popular and likely jealous. But such a good novel wasn't selected to be voted and was thrown away. I've seen other apocalyptic style novels on Webnovel but they aren't official works. Please guide me.

                                  I hate to once again be the bearer of bad news, but those "Trial Reads" too are about money.
                                  Positive reviews and popularity might have some influence, but the biggest factor are the donations.
                                  If you want to read an apocalyptic novel though, try reading "God and Devil World".
                                  It's been completely translated and I thought it was a fun read.
                                  You'll have to look elsewhere for the first 200 or so chapters, because Webnovel is not hosting them.
                                  They just labelled chapter 193 as chapter 1 and pretend they have the full version.
                                  Just google the title and you can easily find translations of the earlier chapters.
                                  It starts with, "Chapter 1: Special Summon Skeleton".

                                      ×ow I hate this part because I'm sure I'm not the only one that can't sleep waiting to know the ending of the story. I think they should stop bring in New till all is completed. That why I can rest. Lol
