ok. I'm new. I downloaded the app from an add on a comic. I also noticed there are novels here too. as much as I love to draw, I'm not very good as everyone else. so I thought about writing a novel. I actually have 10 chapters ready to type, but there are a few things I need to know. like how do people feel about profanity in the books here? what about violence? sex? if sex is not a problem, how much detailed is allowed? and what about pictures? is it possible to have random pictures in the story? like say every other chapter i had a picture of the characters, or new characters that are not on the cover. is that possible?

this will be my first book ever. I have already let a friend of mine read 4 chapters and they like it. because I like the comics on here sooooo much, I wanted to post my story. so can anyone help with answering the questions?

TauraLovesong pictures or italics or bolds or any characters/alphabets that are not latin (eg emoji, kanji etc) is not supported by Inkstone, unfortunately. The writing tools on Inkstone is more basic than the likes of Wattpad or Royal Road. I would suggest setting your story for mature audiences if you want to include NSFW scenes, but since many of the readers on this platform are the impressionable youths, I would suggest keeping your writing somewhat family friendly. Profanities are generally accepted and it’s your choice to censor or not. In terms of sex scenes, as long as it’s not too hardcore it’s fine. There’s a guideline you can read on Inkstone for more info.

A few tips: just write whatever the heck you want. It’s your story. People will read if they wanna read. A good cover and synopsis works wonders. Oh, and make sure to write your story on a word document somewhere else first instead of writing directly on Inkstone since it has the tendency to crash every once in a while.

I have long wanted to try to start writing, but with this I constantly have serious problems. That's why I started looking for a service that could help me. At https://essayreviewexpert.com/review/essayvikings/ I read a review of the Essayvikings service and considering all the factors I realized that this is a good service. I hope that they will be able to help me qualitatively.

TauraLovesong I think it depends on what type of book you are wanting to write. If it's a more serious topic like violence or sexual intercourse, I recommend making it a mature audience level. I honestly think there are books on here like that. Personally I wouldn't want to read a book about violence, it just emotionally unstables me. If you do, make sure to take precautionary measures saying that you did do those or that. Like if a younger audience member read a violence book and there was no rating stating it was for mature audiences then they could maybe sue you. I don't exactly know. I do know if it's a more serious topic I do add mature audiences, and a warning label at the very beginning on the novel, one of the first words they read.

As for like story telling, let your creative side take over. I think it's fun to have a plan and a sort of direction you want to go, but at the same time have fun with it. I know I've written stories where I planned out everything, and I just dreaded writing it. I found that if I have a direction I want to go, just let my fingers fly and make it make sense later lol. Hope this helps!!? If you have anymore questions feel free to reply to this commentz and I'll do my best to answer!!! Best of wishes.

I found a lot of useful information here. But for my part, I would like to add that the rules of writing should be followed only if you are writing such important papers as, for example, a statement of purpose, but if you do not understand this at all, then it would be more correct to entrust the writing of this paper to https://www.sopservices.net/ After all, no one better than professional writers do not cope with this task.

When I first faced the task of reporting on a book, I was shocked. Turns out I'm not the only one with this problem, because students don't often get assignments to book report writer so it's likely that few people are familiar with what a report should look like. I was lucky, and I managed, as the writers on the site are very good at this skill. They have written a lot of reports during their career and know how to research the topic, so they helped not only me, but also other students.

TauraLovesong "Story" by Robert McKee, "Creating Short Fiction" by Damon Knight, and "Invisible Ink" by Brian McDonald are the three best books I've ever read about creating great stories. I know you were asking more specifically about content, but I highly recommend these three books if you're new to storytelling in general.

The mechanical rules of writing are more complicated, but if you have the equivalent of a US high school education, you're probably more skilled than most people on this site when it comes to mechanical English. I highly recommend writing in Google Docs, since it does a pretty good job at checking basic grammar and mechanics, as well as using the free version of ProWritingAid to check for more issues.
