Contracted webnovel authors, those who had already hit the one year mark in the contract, what happens to your novel? Does webnovel make any major changes to it, or do you write like you normally would?
Contracted Webnovel Authors
I'm still writing them (I have 2 contracted novels). WN don't meddle in whatever I write and they don't nag me even if I don't update. So, I just write on my own pace.

Just pointing one thing , before even starting to write something that could be called "novel" thinking about the stuff of rights or any kind thing is just a blank paper without any kind of writer on it.
For your question , you should not be worried if you are an amateur author who just started yet , and if you do not earn about monthly $5 k to $10 k , they most likely will not care about you even you just stop writing suddenly , as long as you dont sell your book or written works of yours in anywhere else of webnovel
2 Contracted novels, one completed and one on hiatus. (And hoping for a third).
WN allows contracted authors to write at their own pace. As long as you don't violate obvious rules or the contract, you'll be fine.
As for the changes, they haven't done anything to my novels, but the staff constantly taught us how to improve our writing skills. We have weekly workshop in discord.
DamnPlotArmor I'm been contracted but no one responded
PrinceofSin Ah nothing magical I guess. My story's completed and nothing is done to it other than get featured once in a while. I figure everyone's contract experience is going to be different.

It depends on what you expect from them. For most of us, I guess, it's pretty basic.
From my experience:
They will leave you alone for the most of time.
Will they contact you to say your synopsis sucks and you should change it? No.
Will they contact you to say your cover is not selling, can be improved, or to offer you a new cover? No.
Will they contact you to say you should write more? No, unless you are MIA. And they will be quite understanding of your reasons. After all, we are all humans.
Will they contact you to say you should write this and not that? No. From what I've heard, they don't, unless you are breaking a major rule and it becomes an issue, with people getting mad about it, or so.
Not sure whether they know what you are writing right now. I know they read a few first chapters, but I'm sure they can't possibly have time to read all novels of all authors under them.
They offer workshops to those who want to improve, where you will listen to mostly the opinion of other authors that also are hoping to improve, with some insight from the editor.
I guess they're short of editors to give attention to the massive number of authors.
If the top 50 get special attention, as some say, I don't know, because I was never there. I suppose so, though.
Yet, they at least are offering workshops, though, it's pretty hard to me to join, due to timezones.
And, voice chats aren't my thing.

Well, nothing really happens? I mean, they leave us on our device most of the time and didn't interfere in how we write as long as we don't breach the contract.
I have been contracted for nearly 2 years here (in a few more months) and have 4 novels with one completed and three ongoing. All are contracted and WN never asked me to change the content or anything like that.
