_Sha i urgently need a sincere and capable editor

A capable editor does not come cheaply. 7% of earnings sounds like <$1 per 1k words during the guaranteed minimum period and effectively free during all other periods. Even if your novel is top 10, it won't be much more than $1 per chapter. Time is money, and that's seeking a dedication of half an hour - 2+ hours per day depending on how well you write and how much you want them to edit of a skilled trade which can otherwise pay from $5-25+ per hour.

Well, at least you are willing to offer something. Most who are searching for editors want free labor.

        I absolutely think all works deserve to be paid accordingly and editors are no exception. But thinking a WN average writer can pay $5-25 hour for editing is delusional.
        Even $3 per each 1k words is too much for the majority of writers here. As pointed out, most of them don't earn a third of it per chapter.

          SrtaA I'm not limiting this to Webnovel exclusively. I'm almost certain no author here can support more than $5 per hour of simple editing. Even translation groups only offer roughly $2 per 1k words. From what I've seen, freelancers can easily get $20-25 per hour elsewhere. Just hoping to temper expectations. On both ends.

            _Sha hi, if you don't mind I'd like to give it a try. No experience in editing but willing to help you. Since I don't have experience I'm not gonna ask for pf. But I'd like to know more about your requirements since I have full time job, I'll see if I can squeeze it in on weekdays or just do it weekends.

                KoraL This was the minimum which i offered, when i will select, i will give bonus according to the earning, and i believe that even if someone edited a single chapter, should be paid.

                    _Sha Hello, although unsure about it, could you provide with novel name and your planned release schedules? Things such as how many chapters per week and average or estimate words per chapter would help people decide.
