I've been trying to figure out what era my novel should take place in, but I don't know. It started modern, but then I changed it to more of medieval. It doesn't seem right still. If you could I would love some input on what era it should take place in.

I think it all depends on how you write the story. What type of characters are you writing? What setting fits your character the most? Like cultivation for example. Cultivators fit more in ancient style setting. However, there are some exceptions like how there could be cultivators in the modern world. If there's cultivation in the modern world where they're living in a world of technology and suddenly the main character and other side characters can use magical powers, it can add some new aspect to it. Overall, it depends on which era can help bring forth the most potential that you created for your characters. Hope that helps.
Midnight_Alpha I went and scanned what you had...I like it in modern, rather than medieval, but if you don't like either then maybe alternate history? There's a lot of ways you could do this.
