I totally agree with your opinion. I've been trying to find a story with realistic character development but no such luck. I don't want the main characters changing to a huge jerk one day and then turning into the nicest person in the world the next. That doesn't make any sense, but I would let slide by if they would explain why instead of making me make assumptions. And mostly, the number of romance novels that seem rushed and make no sense at all is infuriating. I just want a good book that makes some sense and isn't rushed. Maybe my expectations are too high, but I'm hoping they aren't.
Veronica8 I get annoyed at how the original books don't get any recognition. Still, books that are repeated off the same concept are everywhere on Webnovel and get so much recognition. Since romance is so popular, I'm trying to make an original with Romance incorporated; so far, I only have four people who added it into their library...It isn't encouraging. I would love to have some responsive readers. I write for fun, but I'm here to improve too. I would love to maybe get some feedback from them instead of just sitting around trying my best to make a book without knowing if the readers like it or not. Maybe I have my expectations too high and shouldn't expect them to give feedback at all. Well, I just wanted to get that off my chest, and I totally agree with your opinion.
I'm not too fond of the unrealistic amount of views you'll get on your book; if anything, give the right amount of views or don't count the readers who only stay for a short period of time on your book if that makes sense. There should be an option for getting coins because I shouldn't have to dump a bunch of money on coins only to get one to two chapters. Or at least make people just buy the book itself instead of making us pay for one chapter. I don't spend money on these apps because of the number of grammatical errors some books have. I read them to pass the time. I don't want to spend money on an app with books that don't make that much sense, no offense to the authors that work their butts off to make a book. Maybe make us convert points into coins because most of the books I read only have chapters that need coins instead of fast passes. (Forgot what those chapters are called.) I make books for fun, and I have a book I want to delete, but you can't delete them, so it's just sitting there, which annoys me, but that's just a minor issue. Other than that and a few minor glitches, this app is okay.

I would greatly appreciate any suggestions, but I would love some tips to get the character's emotions across. I'm having trouble with that, and it's no story when the characters themselves are emotionless or don't have complicated enough feelings. In my first novel, I watched it go to 50 to 100 in a matter of minutes when I refreshed the page. Webnovel should get an accurate view count instead of letting the newer authors think they have 500 views in a week.

I'm going, to be honest. I enjoy some romance novels, but most aren't that good. I'm not too fond of the ML who abuses or is a bully to the FL. Especially if the ML won't change, it's so frustrating when I read a novel like that. I don't understand why books like that get so much attention. There are so few good romance novels, which is infuriating. That's my opinion, and I'm trying not to be mean to those people with those types of Romance Novels.
