  • So I’ve noticed so far that there are a lot of some new people who ARE NOT even from Webnovel and spamming on the forum with links. They will say that they or someone is being paid a lot with little to no effort around 500$ a day for going to this website and filling out some form.

@KatherineBarnett and @JamesDean01 are two that I noticed so far.

They even said almost the exact same content!!!!

    This is what they said:

“Google pays $85 per hour my last paycheck was $8500 operating a hundred hours per week online. My younger brother’s friend has been averaging 12k for months currently....(and bla bla bla bla. I'm too lazy to even write any more than this)”

Then they put a link at the end.
This IS A SCAM!!!!!! Don’t fall for it!!!!!!! You’ll lose your hard earn money if you do!!!!

@yaoyueyi Please block those people as well as make sure that nobody is posting more scam links, please!!!! There are people who fail to realize that these types of links from websites are scams and I don’t want that to happen to my loved ones or anyone here on the forum.

    • The link that Jamesdean01 post here is a complete scam. Please, I checked on google as well as reviews. There are many red flags. Earning as much as 500$ without doing anything? That is just too good to be true. Remember, when something is just too good to be true, it's NOT TRUE!!!! Don't trust me? Search in google always for review about the company or site.

Edit: Oh, now he deletes it. Okay then. GOOD! AND DON'T COME BACK TO THE FORUM AGAIN TO POST SOME DUMB SH*T ASS SCAM OF A SITE!!!!!!

      ALSO

      @JamesDean01

If I ever see you post that site or any other scam site again, I'M GOING TO REPORT YOU!

      • Tinalynge

Thank you so much!!! The cover books he made for you looks awesome! And the prices you mentioned are within my range too. Uwu, thx for also telling me what to search in fiverr so that I know where to look for.

        • In Free

There are lots of novels out there that are free since some haven't been contracted yet. But seriously dude, authors and translators work hard to put out novels out there for us to read and enjoy. Sometimes, just one chapter can take up to 3-4 hours of their time to work on. Also, some write and make a living off of it to survive and pay for their bills. Sometimes, we just gotta support them. Free isn't always the answer. And again, if you want to read free novels, web novels have thousands of them. You just gotta search.

        • As the title said, I want to hire an artist to draw for my cover book. Here's some things that I need that artist to have.

-Be original. Create new characters for the book cover (Not just editing a picture found in google. I don't want to have the risk of getting sue)

-Must draw in really good quality (Artist can name the price they want me to pay and I'll see if it's something I can afford. Prices can range to $100-$300 USD if the quality is high and I'll be happy to pay for it.)

-Must show me some of their previous works so I know what to expect if I'm going to need them to make a cover book for me.

-Drawing must be like those really good Chinese anime drawings where you find in Pinterest and google where they wear ancient clothings uwu. Oh yeah, I want the character(s) in the cover book to wear ancient Chinese clothings too.

          coughs

I know I'm asking a lot but I'm just an author who really wants a really good cover book for her novels. I tried searching online to hire artists but so far I haven't found those that have high quality and in a style I like. So, if you can draw like what I mentioned above or have someone you know that can do the above, please tell me so I can buy a cover book.

If even after this I can't find one, I guess I'll just do it myself. In terms of my ability to draw, it's above average but that's only on paper, not digital. I don't know how to color on arts that are digital. RIP.

          • I don't think recommending your own novel without someone asking you for it is allowed in the forum.

            @yaoyueyi

            • coughs

I'm going to be shameless here. Hope you don't mind.

              So...

              https://www.webnovel.com/book/the-villain-has-feelings-too_17803471106121005

This is my novel. There's only three chapters so far since I just started on it and I plan to update daily. Even without transmigration, it is kinda like that since my MC will go through many journeys and see 99 different kinds of lives from small villains. My MC isn't naive. Instead, I think he's a little too OP right at the start. Ah, he can be a bit ruthless too. Already slicing off other people's little brother at chapter 2 cough cough. You can just read and then decide whether or not you want to wait for new updates or just drop the novel. The grammar is okay. It's readable. Oh yeah, there's no harem.

P.S. Although he's OP, he has his flaws to make up for it. Being powerful doesn't make him perfect.

              • I think it all depends on how you write the story. What type of characters are you writing? What setting fits your character the most? Like cultivation for example. Cultivators fit more in ancient style setting. However, there are some exceptions like how there could be cultivators in the modern world. If there's cultivation in the modern world where they're living in a world of technology and suddenly the main character and other side characters can use magical powers, it can add some new aspect to it. Overall, it depends on which era can help bring forth the most potential that you created for your characters. Hope that helps.

              • Here's some things to think about.

                1) If there's a main character in a novel that is a villain, what would you like to see in him/her?

                2) Would you expect him/her to have a twisted or sad past?

                3) Even if he/she is a villain, would you mind him/her showing empathy in some part in the later chapters?

                4) Last and least of all, do you like to read a main character that is actually the main villain in the novel?

                • Oh my goodness. I did not expect the forum to be a place for hookups lmao.

                  • I just wrote the first chapter of my novel today. My Main Character is a villain who committed many crimes and he ain’t those type of good peeps where you see usually transmigrates to villain characters but still retains their nice side. Not even close to it.

Do readers even like to read a villain as the main character? Will readers not like the fact that he can be too evil sometimes?

                    sigh

                    This is my first novel...

Ah, I think my synopsis need some work. I might redo it. Some tips on writing synopsis in the front page?
