  • Is it possible to reach a million views even though I dont do well early.

Of course, the more collections you get, the more views per chapter.
Also, if you get featured, your views will go up (depends on the feature)
Just try and improve every chapter.

HotRedFlaming, Of course, it's possible, when I started writing here back in 2017, there were fewer readers. The story I wrote was all over the place, but I persisted and it gained more than a million views. Though I did have a bit of difficulty with all the hate and negativity, after a while it bothered me less and less. So I truly believe that those who believe and work hard would be rewarded.

So I believe in you, I believe you will succeed.

Having or reaching the 1 million views is not that important, the important things is having more collection and paying readers if you want to write and create fiction as your job,

I have three books on my name each one of them passed 1.5 million views and total collection of all three books is 30k to 50k collections, and I dont even earn monthly $500, because of my grammar and other things, so it is hard just know that before entering this realm of webnovel.

Krizantem when I entered WN i enver thought of it as something that I wished to get money from. I just want people to join me with the adventure I have inside my head. But if it gives money then better.

Content type has a high part to play in the success rate. I'm not talking about grammar and technical quality. If you're writing to a niche genre like GL, it's likely going to be harder to reach a reading audience here to gather those views. Since there are a lot of non writing factors outside of your control that can contribute to the challenges.

All you can do is keep writing with the belief that the story needs an end. Even believing that the one reader who took a chance on the story is sticking with it. Sometimes these ideals may be the only things that keeps the story alive.

From my experiences, I'm of the opinion that every author needs to be prepared to finish a story with other motivations and reasons in mind. Readership shouldn't be the only one.

At least you are better than me. I barely get any views or comments. I just want someone to just give me some feedback. But I barely get any and don't really know if someone is really reading my novel or it's just counting my own views. Now, I got to do a different approach if I want some feedback and do shameless promoting.

fromawriter I think your book is hidden from your profile, you need to contact WN with it on email. With that case if you update people wont see it on their website.

Don't lose hope. The increase of views will not be constantly the same with increase of chaps.
Truth is I dunno much about how it works either.
Last month my collection was 175. Now its 172. God knows whats happening.
A person of my caliber cant give u a solution. But just telling you, don't lose hope.

PrinceofLightning The same thing happened to me as well. Sometimes readers are squeamish about some characters.
There is always a villain in the story that progresses it forward and It cant be avoided.
So what I do is, whenever I release chapters with my villain in them, I release another chapter so as not to leave my readers with a bad taste in their mouth.
You can also analyze your novel and do the same.
