Hey guys, I've just received a contract for my book but I am not really happy with its terms. Should I try asking for a different one? I would still like my work to be mine and to not have a certain quota of words to fulfill daily. Any answer would be appreciated !

EmpRabbit Other than the exclusive contract, there is a non-exclusive one where your story remains your own.
As for writing daily, the authors aren't necessarily forced to write daily for exclusive, but it's preferable for there to be daily updates. You can make $200 per month for writing 1.5k words daily for a month during the initial months of your exclusive contract. But as far as I know there is no need to write daily for an exclusive contract if you don't want mgs.
Overall tho daily updates really help your novel in general. Even without any contract.
As for nonexclusive contract, well it has it's own complexities.
The exclusive contract is through Webnovel. The non-exclusive contract is through EMP, which works with Webnovel. It is two different companies, so if you want to have a look at the non-exclusive contract you will have to take contact to EMP instead of asking Webnovel for the exclusive.

They won't negotiate with you for an exclusive, not even a small change in the wording. At least that's the case for a new author.

I was given an offer of a contract by webnovel. How do l sign it on my phone? I have filled my basic info and havent passed the author info yet.I tried tapping 'next step' but it isn't working.What should I do next?
