  • Depending on which genre you write it varies, but generally, I recommend that you:

1.Start creating your characters (appearances, traits, personality), settings, conflict, etc. before you begin writing rather as it tends to execute better than along the way.

    1. Use accurate grammar that matches either the time period your story is in or if the book is in the first person, by the age or personality of the character. It makes the book seem far more realistic.

    2. Do not make "perfect" characters! It makes it incredibly difficult for you to develop them!

    3. Inspiration. Whether it be by music or another novel etc, try to find something that will inspire you to create.

    4. Grammar assistance applications. I suggest Grammarly.

    5. Write. Even if it's not the best, practice makes perfect.

  • It's not a scam, these people work for web novel.

This is an e-mail I received from one of the representatives

There are two types of contracts we offer:

    Non-Exclusive Contract
This contract will allow you to earn a set percentage of your book's profits (<50%) while on Webnovel and still allow you to monetize your book elsewhere. Also, you will have to market and promote your work yourself and you will not have access to Webnovel editors. This one is aimed to a completed story or has min. 20.000 words.

    Royalty Contract
If your book is still ongoing and not yet contracted by a third party, I will, however, recommend you to sign the Royalty contract instead as it allows a higher percentage of profits (50%) from your book and also allows the Webnovel team to market your book for you, which in the non-exclusive case you will need to advertise your book yourself. The Royalty contract also grants you access to our Content Editor team who can help you with improving your book's marketability value.

I'm not sure if in the Royalty contract Webnovel has some parts of ownership of your book until the contract is signed? I'll have to e-mail about that arrangement.

Email them back so you can get a full explanation of things. They will give you the criteria for things you need to meet in order to join the program.

    • I'm a bit new to this app so I would love if someone gave me feedback on my book please! https://www.webnovel.com/book/rules-of-ignobility_18207782606845705

Synopsis: "I should cut your tongue from your lips for the tone in which you dare speak to me."

There are rules. They are simple, they are clear. You must not disrespect, you must not mingle, you must not be equal. The gap between both rich and poor, bonded with safety if you follow them well.

Coming of age, Pak Yian soon realizes that survival is more than fancies and wishful thoughts. Blessed with the gift of creativity, he busies himself tirelessly with his paintbrush and easel, as he longs for a time in which he truly belongs. Oblivious, not only his paintings- but he catches the eyes of the very one he's grown to despise. However, he finds out later than sooner, that he is just another victim of the Rules of Ignobility.

        • PLEASE! It makes the tone of the story seem so bland. I had to go on a site that changes the regular text to italics, and even then those words aren't counted in the word count.

        • In Tea

I love lemon, peppermint, and ginger tea. I only like fruit-flavored tea's if they're iced tbh...
