Wouldn't this make sense? These forums tend to be overrun with author posts nowadays, all the posts by readers tend to drown in the mass QUESTIONS ABOUT CONTRACT?! posts etc..

PjBaek I think that authors are supposed to use discord. I think that just by adding a section like "contract&co", this forum would be like half emptier .-.

Shadowfang Ahh nope, everything authors need to know is in discord. The ones who are asking recently in the forums are from Wattpad who don't bother reading the FAQ and GK provided there. They just head here without even using the site.

The forum is linked to the website, so the first place a lot of members will go to.

I see it that this is the only place readers and writers of all kinds have a chance to connect. It'll be a shame to take that away.

Wouldn't it make sense to post the same information here to ensure it catches everyone?

PS: Sorry Overlord. Hadn't intended to ping you. Just wanted to carry on the convo

Veronica8 no, we are not talking about taking away the forum. But we need more suitable forum categorization so that we would not need to skim part lots of thread we are not interested to read. Clearly the tag are insufficient for it. Perhaps if we could utilize sub forum or something?
            @yaoyueyi what do you think?

GegeSadewa sounds cool but i legit have no power about anything that goes beyond deleting and pinning posts on the forum :/

yaoyueyi oh? Not even creating sub forum? How about adding more tag variation? Because at least if they were tagged correctly, we could sort them out based on the tags. But the tags option are limited....

GegeSadewa no. like i said above, my powers solely include:

                  editing & deleting threads/posts
                  stickying threads
                  suspending people

                  that's it. :pensive:

yaoyueyi Well, at least when you edit the thread/post you could still allocate them into a more proper related tags available at the moment.
Thank you for all of the hard work. 😉
Its quite difficult to look at alot of thread/post that they did not use proper/related tags concerning with their contents. 😅

GegeSadewa Aah. Okay. That makes sense.

I guess Wattpad did this with their discourse-based forums before they pulled the plug. They used categories with tags, which seemed to work quite well for short time. Tapas.io forums uses categories also. It looks orderly.

It would be good if this forum also had category splits. I have a feeling this forum app is limited in a demo mode kind of ability.
