So the first nameless girl... i know that she was displayed as the "bad" one and i've read the comments since i expected sad stuff. I still feel kinda bad that she died of reget etc. even if many comments hated her.
I also skipped the second bonus chapter with the "Princess" and the "third girl". The real problem started later when he met the third girl again and she died. That chapter overall was super sad. And i really dislike his "son" who was/is super annoying and even more that his son ended up with the other girl that previously was kinda teased as possible "harem member" (at least i felt like that, since i also felt bad for the first girl and he often said, that they look the same). So overall those two Chapters have been suuper sad and i really disliked them :/

Regarding the fox girl: I just skipped through the chapters now and... why does the mc suddenly feels so "evil"? Before he always was kinda nice and friendly, maybe little to "skirt chasing" in his past (300 years ago) but overall... now he tossed the woman in the coffin just in some corner, wanna sell the fox all the time, uses the fox (even if he don't know its a girl, its sill a animal) as towel etc... maybe it just should be a running joke that he treats the "god/immortal" woman badly... but after what happend before i really AT LEAST needed some comfort (since i still hoped that the third girl would be revived) but instead i get him mistreating another woman/animal.

            Welcome to the club of not liking his son. I had filtered out those chapter out of my mind. It is one thing that did not resolve itself in the desired way.

                Hey, ok so lets start the list =D

                1) Recommended Novels (havenā€™t read jet):
                Higher priority for me:

                • Good for nothing cultivator - iā€™m reading his second novel ( @Avidfan ), bit disappointed with some sad things and other developments, but overall good read so far. So I have hopes for this novel as well.
                • A Martial Odyssey - same as above, third novel from Avidfan soā€¦ maybe fitting.
                • Psychic Inventor in Cultivation World - i heard that the story is all over the place. But beside that the tags are really fitting. I just hope there is some actual romance & harem after a romance-slow start?
                • Prime Originator - first 2-3 girls are added to fast, after that it seems to be good romance development. Sadly mc leaves several times for several month and even years to do stuff, without his woman.
                • The Way of The Dao - Actually sounds quite interesting. Probably super slow romance, but with good development, iā€™m up for that! Would love to know little more about the harem building and if there is anything sad :x

                Lower priority for me:

                • Poor Man Reborn - only 58 chapters, synopsis didnā€™t fully hooked me
                • Reincarnated As An Impotent In Another World - playboy mc, only comedy, story doesn't sound interesting, only 29 chapters
                • I got summoned to another world, then married a yandere! - only read like 10 chapters and all the story only told how much of a yandere his ā€œwifeā€ is. I was little annoyed, but in general i like the tags so i may try it again later with some more chapters.
                • My CEO Harem Cultivation System - super short, only 10 chapters!
                • DxD - I just have a problem with cliche pervert & dense japanese characters, even if there is a good reason for it. Romance progress is sooo hard with those guys.

                2) Recommended Novels (that i have read):

                • Endbringer - Only 40 chapters (~2500 words each), but the story sounds very promising. Japanese characters/writing style with (expected to be) REAL & good harem setting but slow romance start. Author often uses very long sentences that may be little annoying for native english speaker, beside that the writing style is really good.
                • The Romantic Cultivator - second novel ( @Avidfan ). Overall fun and fluffy read, sadly some really dark moments and some annoying developments (i described it in detail in one comment here if you want spoilers). I have hope that at least the dark moments will get a happyend tho. Sadly in recent chapters (~100+) the MC starts to get quite unsympathetic again, only caring about him self and getting more stupid by second. I really hope that will turn again because slowly i really start to dislike him.
                • Part-Time Star, Full-Time Dad - the child isnā€™t as annoying as I expect kids to be. The harem probably is gonna be quite realisticā€¦ i would prefer it being more happy/fluffy tho, but preferences are different.
                • illicit relationship - Iā€™ve only read like 40 chapters. MC IS kinda a playboy, but he seems to really cares for the girls as well and i was told that the romance is more prominent later on (till chapter 40 the physical relationship was a lot more prominent than feelings)
                • Prime Vampire - the story idea is good, but i was super annoyed by the mc. Every ā€œromanceā€ was girls just falling for him and him fucking them in the first night while he didnā€™t really cared about how he treated them in their first night etc. Author said he want to display more charaktere and romance development, but i lost interest because i dislike the attitude of the mc to much
                • My (idiot) Girlfriend Recommended Me a VR Game So I Tried Playing It. - good story idea and really nice and slow harem development. Sadly the writing/gramma is little lagging so often the feelings arenā€™t conveyed properly.

                3) Recommended Mangas:

                • The 100 Girlfriends Who Really, Really, Really, Really, Really Love You - looks really good, lot of fluff, good romance, family like harem setting
                • Kanojo mo Kanojo - looks good, heartwarming and fluffy, huge comedy focus tho
                • Umi no Misaki - slice of life with good romance development and fluff
                • Kekkon Yubiwa Monogatari - not real harem setting jet, may be in the future, so iā€™ll wait

                4) Recommended but not fitting:

                • The Prophetress - only 30 chapters, no harem tag
                • I Choose The Villain Duke - no harem, ā€œevilā€ male lead
                • Stealing Spree - i was warned by the author ( @Dyrem ) that the mc is quite despicable, i tried reading the first 2 chapters but had to agree with him and was really disgusted by the mc using girl and just throwing them away after. Not my thing :x Maybe he changes later, but i donā€™t know if i could ā€œforgiveā€ him.
                • Godfather and Godson! - sorry, personally i just donā€™t like reading fanfiction of stories that iā€™m quite familiar with.
                • My Future Husband is Inhuman! - no harem

                @SecretWolf If you ever have time, could you maybe specify this long list that you posted like 8 days ago? xD There are so many novels on it and i canā€™t really figure out which of them could really fit :x
                Atm i thought that The Sinful Life of The Emperor could be quite good (if the mc isnā€™t annoying) as well as Psychic Inventor of Cultivation World and Trash Techniques are Actually PRetty Efficient.

                @GegeSadewa I already know most of the ā€œnormalā€ (outside of webnovel.com) webnovels you recommended. But 3 of them sound quite interesting and all 3 are finished. If youā€™ve finished reading them, could you maybe tell me a little about them? Especially about how much romance there is and how the harem is handled. And if there are any sad things that i should be aware of? Those three novels iā€™m talking of are: Legend of Ling Tian, MMORPG: Rebirth of the Legendary Guardian and Shuraā€™s Wrath.

                @NoWoRRyMaN @FunnyBuns pls no hard feelings here. Actually I understand where you both are coming from. I quite enjoy the story, the harem development is quite good and has a good buildup and development. BUT i also can understand why FunnyBuns has problems with it. I told you (Noworryman) before as well, that i think your writing stile is little lagging. You use quite simple writing and sentences and for some it may feel quite robotic because the characters never really questioning details. I really think that the story idea is great and i really enjoy how the harem is reasoned out. But you have to improve your writing to convey those things better to a broad readership because at the moment your characters sometimes feel little ā€œlifelessā€ (or as Funnybuns named it ā€œroboticā€).

                I hope I covered most novels that were mentioned. I may have skipped some suuper short, unfitting novels and some hugely popular novels outside of this website that i already know.

                      NoWoRRyMaN You apologized and thanked me in the first reply? Might be your english skills lacking because that was not what was written. Your first reply was about me lacking understanding and I quit to early, that isn't thanking me it is saying it is my failure to understand the emotions conveyed and I quit to early to see it get better, but again I read at least 200 chapters so far and it never got better (last I checked that was the most recent volume).

                      When you said I'm sorry you made it out to be my loss for not reading further, that comes off pretty concieted when talking about your own work. Could've been a misunderstanding due to your English, but I hope you understand why I responded like that.

                          Nebel Nice job though just to clarify he hasn't left that long yet, what I said about months to years is merely my assumption based on what he has to do in the current arc, but even then after the most recent privilege chapter(that came out a few hours ago) the time he needs to be there has been cut down significantly. Right now the longest he was away was like 2 weeks max(pretty sure it was less but I don't know how much less).

                              guys pls, no catfight. Its ok if you aren't happy with his view of your novel, and its also ok to actually have that opinion on the novel. Just let it rest. You both aren't really working to a resolution of it with your discussion here xD

                                    NP - based on your comments I will give you an overview and heads-up for some things to expect.

                                    Minor Spoilers

                                    The Sinful Life of The Emperor - MC starts of distant and not seeking romantic relationship and just enjoyment. (although he treats them well) - Slowly things change for him and so do the relationships. MC has a sad childhood and has two sides to him. One a reserved gentleman and the other a wild womanizer. I don't want to give too much as it could be a spoiler to the story. Fluffy romance is expected after some reading, but romance is present in the beginning too. (The whole 'stealing' other's women is unique and I am not really sure how you would feel about it. I would suggest taking a comedic mindset to it.)

                                    Psychic Inventor of Cultivation World - Starts off a bit erratic, and missing comma/full stops at times (if you are affected by that). the top point for me was the ideas and the plot which was unique and took an interesting approach to the genre. As for romance, the base of forming a loving relationship was there but MC does not make it official/advance for a while. (This is mainly because of uncertainties in future and a possible separation). Later ++ in the story when MC establishes solid footing he no longer holds back.

                                    Trash Techniques are Actually PRetty Efficient.- You can expect Japanese style MC in terms of romance, (people fall for him but he does not notice much of it.) His relationship with FL is good and there are fun and some quirky moments. (In my personal opinions some comedic actions are not to my taste.) (Still plenty of good stuff.)

                                    If you find any of the other ones interesting or need my opinion of them, let me know.

                                        Nebel Hmmm... yes, I already read till the end of those 3 novel. But I already kinda forget the detailed because its been quite some time ago I've finish reading them. I'll try to inform what I could. But sorry if it become spoiler.
                                        All three of them ends with MC together with his Harem, and the harem is happy. They start they family, and for sad moment there are some event that we think its a loss and/or betrayal, but actually they are not, only if we could read past the event and found out the real reason behind those happening. Its actually very relieving.
                                        Um, sorry for my bad english.
                                        The harem did not start near the beginning of the story but even quite far/some time after them.
                                        Ling Tian even start from MC before birth, and then he when baby, childhood, cant really expect him to woo ladies when he is less than 10 years old, cant we? šŸ˜…
                                        MMORPG Guardian already have someone from the start that the MC target for, but even after quite some time in the story, the MC has not re-meet that particular person. Haha, the quirkiness for someone who turn back in time a few years even before their first met.
                                        Shura.... well, from the start MC know the family is not MC real family, so I guess its just a matter of time the feeling change into a different kind of relationship. Not incest.
                                        Im a male reader and perhaps my sense of romance are not really that developed, but I still like the interaction between the MC and his harem.

                                            @Leporidere I Just finished reading The 100 Girlfriends Who Really, Really, Really, Really, Really Love You.
                                            It was really really fluffy as you've said and i actually enjoyed it quite a lot. But i think i shouldn't have read it in one go. I don't know if all mangas are like that, but i just miss a good story progression. The story felt very... "episodic". Everything just happend, every 1-3 "chapters" was one event that got finished but there was no overall progress (beside the harem getting bigger). So it was a great and super fluffy read, but i think its better to just read one or two chapters in one go for some fluff and happiness. The story overall wasn't that good because it just lagged some deeper reasoning and realism (it was just crazy xD ) As i said, i'm not used to manga, so maybe thats the problem here :x i still had a really fun read tho =D

If the girls are unhappy in the previous relationship and/or he honestly want to stay together with them and cares for them, i probably won't mind it. If its like that start of Stealing Sprea, just stealing girl for sex and don't really caring about them, i probably gonna hate the mc and won't continue reading

                                            Trash Techniques are Actually PRetty Efficient - it only has 90 chapters, so i may wait little longer to see how the romance/harem actually develops before i start reading with those japanese dense mc's i always fear, that there won't be a happyend for every girl :x

                                            Psychic Inventor of Cultivation World - can you tell me how long it approximately takes till the romance/harem really starts? Is it just like 50 chapters, or do i have to wate for 300+ chapters before i get some fluff? :x Regarding the story, i guess i just have to try it and see if i'm as exited about it as you =D

If i have to wait till he meets her again, i'm fine with that. But it would be little sad if i have to read without any romance till then :x and how long do I have to wait for this old romance? Like half the book? Or till the last few chapters?
                                            Shura's Wrath also sounds quite fun to read, i'm not really sure if i would enjoy Legend of Ling Tian so much tho.

                                                  Nebel MMORPG ; of course there will be other new girls come into the MC life even before MC could supposely meet his "destined" girl. This will be quite a heavy spoiler, but actually the MC and his "fiancee" are going to.... well, maybe you could try reading it yourself? Kinda like a plot twist or something? Another spoiler here ; the lady that the MC slept with before his death on the previous turn when he is drunk and heartbroken, of course he gonna "save" her too.
                                                  For Ling Tian, it could be quite long before MC together with his harem, but I think the first member is cute and fluffy enough with the MC only. If with other characters beside MC, she is very cold.
                                                  Shura.... well, after the sadness and the disappointment of the betrayal near the ending was given good reason for me to accept and understand it. I guess happy moments could really be appreciated if we could overcome the unhappy moments. šŸ˜

                                                      The Sinful Life of The Emperor --> Well it is hard to say that he steals them, it is like flings, but also more then that, it is hard to describe it. He mostly trys to win their heart and romances them. Plus the "stealing" is a part of it, as there are also normal romances and harem which is the main focus of the story. It is not like stealing spree as it is not about stealing but more about mutual fun, if it makes sense.

                                                      Trash Techniques are Actually Pretty Efficient - It is always hard to predict that, you are right.

                                                      Psychic Inventor of Cultivation World - The start of the story is not focused on the romance so you get short intervals of romance development, I can't say for sure but I think at around 100 chapters is where you get some fluff (Sorry don't remember how long each event took). BTW the story is SiFi+Cultivation+System, a bit laid back if that is something you like. :)

                                                          At the moment i'm reading MMORPG: Rebirth of the Legendary Guardian, it is a kinda fun read. Everything sad mainly only happens to NPC's so i'm fine with it. But the romance is REALLY slow (already close to 300 chapters into the story) and it's got this typical Chinese "most woman are gold digger" and/or just "objects/accessories for men" vibe. Its quite annoying, but for Chinese author it's still kinda mild, so i can deal with it.

                                                          But i think i will pause it for a moment now. Its really a VERY long story and with the lag of romance, the game elements are getting little boring right now. But i'll definitely continue at some point.

                                                          @Dyrem A friend of mine started reading Stealing Spree and really urged me to read it Since he really treated the girls well even if he didn't had feelings for them, and later starts to really care for the girls as well... combined with the fact, that he probably gonna end up with all girls he had a "relationship" with before... --> IF that's all true, it may solve my bad feeling with him just "using the girls" and they never get mentioned again... so i may give it a try...

                                                              Just finished reading "Stealing Spree" after a "friend" of mine urged me to give it another chance and to read past chapter 30. It's still little twisted and some slightly dark things that i don't really want to overthink, but overall it really was a great read with sole focus on the relationship, romance and the harem. I really enjoyed it.
                                                              If you are little sensible with sad stuff and you despise the mc, may give it another try till chapter ~25 and if you are kind ok then but not fully convinced, there is another improvement before chapter 100.

                                                              On the other hand, i've tried some other novels on the list but couldn't really get enthusiastic about any of them. I guess that's just a temporary thing tho... I may just enjoy a bigger focus on romance atm. and most of those novels only had romance/harem as a "small" sub-genre.

                                                              Soooo.... in case you have again any recommendations for me (still same genre; Not so sad, harem, romance, 50+ chapters) i would be really greatfull =D school and/or modern setting would be great, but everything else (fantasy, cultivation, isekai,...) is totally fine as well

                                                              Oh, and i wouldn't mind Manga recommendations at all if they are fitting xD I'm totally inexperienced with mangas so i may need some more information there, but i really want to give this stile a chance i've only read 2 mangas so far; "The 100 Girlfriends Who Really, Really, Really, Really, Really Love You" and "Kanojo mo Kanojo" i enjoyed both, but both have been quite short and only focused on comedy without anything else :x

                                                                Over the last two weeks i tried to search on my own, but wasn't that successful. I stumbled over "The Incubus System" and it was actually quite a nice read after a difficult start. I like those modern settings and it actually reminded me a little bit of Stealing Spree. Sadly that also only occupied me for like 2 days xD

                                                                So, if anyone has some nice recommendations, i would be really grateful
