EunoiaPryn Getting MGS (minimum guarantee system) can only be done when your novel is premium/locked.
Also, it'll start the second month after you lock the chapter.
Example:
You go premium on April.
In that case, MGS will start on May and in the month May (for 31 days), you have to update daily 1.5k words without any break if you want to earn $200
(If your novel earn more then you do not need to worry about MGS tbh)

                      EunoiaPryn MGS is only 4 months. It didn't mean you stop earning but it'll depends on your readers.
                      Also, if you earn more than MGS, you don't need to worry about it.
                      There are already more forum post that explained everything in details. All you need to do is dig a little bit if you want more explanation.

                              EunoiaPryn you should contact your CE first and ask her/him that you wanted to go premium before the end of november. Otherwise you'll have to wait for a month again. Your CE will give you a form to fill up for that.

                                  If this website operates like any websites where trafic is created by user generated content, it means whatever you are creating for this website is not your intellectual property.
                                  Basically, once you upload it's not your own, and they can do whatever they want with it without your say or you profiting.

                                          Wuiskary_Medina It is indeed shameful some people work really, really, hard but what do they get in return? 10 dollars a month? I feel it is very unfair and they just make you feel "good" about your writing so that they can slowly take away all your work.

                                              I was recently given information on the entire contract thing. So basically the person in charge of giving me the contract said that I should upload every week so that they can know that I'm actively writing. They did not tell me anything about writing daily for 4 months. Should I enquire more from them because they said that they can only offer me Royalty contract since I am participating in the WSA 2021 contest.

                                              Mika_gotcaught well you earn in every type of contract. Royalty one says that you can't post your work anywhere else then webnovel. Meanwhile in non-exclusive you can. You don't need to upload daily for the royalty contract. They have mgs which only helps in earning if your book isn't doing too well. So it is recommended to upload daily. You can still choose to upload at your own pace in both the contracts.
