313 Spirit Stones earned today from 09:54 to 10:08 by inviting 3 new members, lost 333 Spirit Stones today from 10:09 to 11:35 reading "Library of Heaven's Path" chapters 608 to 634. :-(

I used to follow CKtalon and True Martial World from his original work. IT was EPIC. Now it's down to maybe 1 chapter a day if at all. Great.. but after premium? it's 0 chapters. The chapters remain locked because I guess he hasn't gone past the threshold so I might as well not read.

Same like MMORPG: RLG I used to read that religiously now over over 70 chapters (10%) of a 700+ chapter story is locked as premium.

I have saved all my SS for LOHP. The story i enjoyed the most. I don't even bother to look at those titles now that they have gone premium. Instead hoping to wait a few months to have more then a few to read at a time.

Just my feedback and 2 cents. Qidan and the team can run their business the way they like.

    I can understand premium novels and giving the translators the compensation they deserve, but they went about this all wrong, and it's obviously more of a cash grab than "supporting the translators".

    For me, the two main issues are:

    • SS cost based on word count. All these authors fluff their stories like crazy and you end up paying 10+ spirit stones for all these filler chapters. In this way you end up paying way more to keep reading than you would for probably 3+ actual books with compelling stories and lack of fillers.

    • Paying users are pretty much screwed if they ever stop paying because the release of premium for free chapters has nothing to do with what chapters you've unlocked already. You unlock the premium chapters and get further ahead of the free release schedule, and if you stop or run out of SS then you're stuck waiting an astronomically long time to get the next chapter. So basically just keep shoving your money at QI or get out.

      Oxy GregLuck Premium is good, But you’re forgetting the fact that almost 50-80% Of this chapters are filled with filler, So paying 12-16 SS just to read filler chapters hardly makes sense. Either they should just keep 8-12 SS for every single chapter or take Monthly subscriptions.

          Axzile Novels cost is way over priced, the way this trend is going, any new popular book that has 500 - 1000 chapters will cost 17-35 plus dollars. Fair market value on these books realistically is sub $5. (Using a game of thrones book at 8 bucks as a top price for fictional novel)

              Legion of the damned cost 15€ and metro 2024 cost 20€, both around 300k words when i bought them in 2012, thats equivalent to almost 1.000 chapter, or none if you pace yourself with free ss and pff

              Asoiaf and hp benefitted from economic of scale, lower margin of profit with higher volume of sales

              My point is, FOR NOW, the price is still cheaper than their printed counterpart, i just hope that its not getting WORSE

                  I mean come on. More than 100 chapters as premium. Thats more than 20 dollar/ euro. Thats more than i pay for 3 normal sized real books. Its just to expensive. And the release rate of free chapters droped quite a bit.

                    Fuhrer 300 000 words is equivalent to 1500 ss (~25$). That give as 100-200 chapters.

                        Anywy, dont you guys think that the price is a little bit expensive? Lets count, i read 4 premium novel and i need around 60 ss each day, i can get the free ss for 30 ss each day so i need 30 ss more each day which is will be 900 ss each month. And how much will it cost? 20 usd....
                        20 usd pee month, and tht price is as expensive as my netflix account..which allow me to watch any netflix series, that i believe have more production cost than this novel

                        So i hope qidian can give more thought about this, or at least increase the way to get free ss, increase the ads is okay, as long as we can read it for free

                          Axzile gosh, I noticed that too. The more you read further, the higher spirit stones required. If they will do this to all novels then there will come a time when they get less and less readers. It's getting heavy for my pocket...😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭

                              Kantisett Hear hear! I've been also debating as to why the premium chapters of some novels go far as 14 to 18ss each. I mean, even without the premium, we get 1 chap a day on some of the novels. And not to mention, if they do a mass release and you need to spend that much amount everytime, I'd be broke.

                                  bugmum True and could you just imagine how many readers they get. Say the novel gets 30 readers and they all used their spirit stones to buy the chapters, that's 30 Times $20 already. Too expensive.

                                      They would not release chapters willy nilly, they need you to keep coming back every day so.... novels will be dragged out as much as possible. That's why even if you pay premium you still have to wait for chapters to be released 2 or 3 at a time (if you're lucky) and have log in every day.
