Oxy It doesnt matter how their calculated. When people were using 4 ss to unlock chapter are now having to fork out 8-14, its going to rub people the wrong way.

      SnowFlakey i just hope that the lock on that chapter will be removed after a few weeks this way new readers will still be able to read it. and wont be discouraged

        Axzile I too am not happy about it. But the thing is if it is based on the length of the chapter then that is okay but make the number of chapters given in premium a little less. Currently I read 3 novels which are in premium program "Library of the Heaven's Path", "The Strongest System", "Super God Gene". I am frustrated to find 16+ chapters in premium just sitting there. Although it may improve the income the readers will lose interest in reading daily. If the story is not having an intense session then the readers will feel that it is better to reserve the spirit stones when reading some interesting chapters like climax of an arc etc. If the number of premium chapters is 6-10 and with earliest 2 chapters being unlocked either using ss or via ad is better than the current one.

          Anyone know after how many chapters would the chapters be unlocked after AGM goes premium?

            premium novels are now dominating until all the novel require SS to read there will be no more good novel to read for free. slowly but surely every novel will go premium

            I stopped reading Release that witch after the ads were removed >.<;;; and pretty much for most good reds in the site ... sad .... cant really buy premium since i'm just a casual reader and doesn't have a good income ....

            The previous cost of 4 SS/novel is because it is not on a premium list, and thus just an advanced free chapter.
            Now that if a novel goes on premium, the cost to unlock depends on the word count per chapter. 1 SS/ 200 words.

            @iPandas well, to lessen your sorrow, you should try reddit, or google, or reddit, or 9gag, or reddit or whatever is your another source of :wink: entertainment, and be happy. maybe type 'qidian' or something on maybe reddit or google or reddit.

            Nah, that's pretty much all the reason, beside the 'more chapters per day' of course. The number of chapter they released still the same, it's just half of them became premium only.

            I also agree with you, but unless they recruit more TL & Editor, which in fact would raise the 'production' cost and make the premium cost more expensive, that's not gonna happen.

                              313 Spirit Stones earned today from 09:54 to 10:08 by inviting 3 new members, lost 333 Spirit Stones today from 10:09 to 11:35 reading "Library of Heaven's Path" chapters 608 to 634. :-(

                              I used to follow CKtalon and True Martial World from his original work. IT was EPIC. Now it's down to maybe 1 chapter a day if at all. Great.. but after premium? it's 0 chapters. The chapters remain locked because I guess he hasn't gone past the threshold so I might as well not read.

                              Same like MMORPG: RLG I used to read that religiously now over over 70 chapters (10%) of a 700+ chapter story is locked as premium.

                              I have saved all my SS for LOHP. The story i enjoyed the most. I don't even bother to look at those titles now that they have gone premium. Instead hoping to wait a few months to have more then a few to read at a time.

                              Just my feedback and 2 cents. Qidan and the team can run their business the way they like.

                                I can understand premium novels and giving the translators the compensation they deserve, but they went about this all wrong, and it's obviously more of a cash grab than "supporting the translators".

                                For me, the two main issues are:

                                • SS cost based on word count. All these authors fluff their stories like crazy and you end up paying 10+ spirit stones for all these filler chapters. In this way you end up paying way more to keep reading than you would for probably 3+ actual books with compelling stories and lack of fillers.

                                • Paying users are pretty much screwed if they ever stop paying because the release of premium for free chapters has nothing to do with what chapters you've unlocked already. You unlock the premium chapters and get further ahead of the free release schedule, and if you stop or run out of SS then you're stuck waiting an astronomically long time to get the next chapter. So basically just keep shoving your money at QI or get out.

                                  Oxy GregLuck Premium is good, But you’re forgetting the fact that almost 50-80% Of this chapters are filled with filler, So paying 12-16 SS just to read filler chapters hardly makes sense. Either they should just keep 8-12 SS for every single chapter or take Monthly subscriptions.
