  • klmorgan while I can understand authors need to look out for themselves (most can't do this for free, no argument there) that is just not a good deal for the consumer.
Think about it this way, I pay $18 a month for Netflix(4K, etc) for that I get all the shows on Netflix, not 'select 10 shows or movies' for the month.
Honestly getting an amount based on ranking is just realistic, no company is ever going to pay the little guy as much as the AAA huge popular authors. Print authors don't just expect to make money from books that don't sell.
That being said, I hope there is some solution found that benefits everyone without just making the subscription service into another version
of buying SS, unlimited or nothing at all.

    • Quetzacchi exactly, who honestly says "hey we have this steady source of income, let's kill that for a few months while we make a new system.

    • That's really too bad. I was actually looking forward to renewing my subscription, that's the only way I'll read books here because the spirit stone system is horrible value for readers. Hope the new program is out soon.

    • Premium novels are fine, but the promise was that they would have premium but chapters would become free again once they were old (week or two) or at least tha was the original idea. Now they are just sniping the most popular novels and slapping premium on. Almost makes me want to send power stones to the books I hate just so that the good books don't get locked away.

Honestly just really want a subscription service instead of this dumb stone garbage, let me pay $10-20 a month and then leave me alone to read the novels.
