Every other day we are seeing someone spamming customer care number or something in korean and creating a lot of posts, making the forum very unsightly.

We can't expect mods to be online 24x7 to delete such posts and ban these spammers. Most of the mods are authors, or employees @webnovel, so they can't always manage the server.

So here's my simple, straightforward suggestion: Add timer.

Restrict the number of posts a user can make in a certain interval of time.
For e.g.: If I am making this post right now, put a timer on my account so I can't make another post in the next six hours.

This will prevent and discourage me from spamming irrelevant posts on the server.
...

Now, I know this is not a full solution for this because it can be easily bypassed if the spammer uses more than one userId, but, it's still better than doing nothing and waiting for the mods to delete. This is a prevention, not cure.

I hope this post does not sink in the tsunami of spam posts.

Pretty good idea. Considering the most a person would likely post is one or two new threads at a time. I think most forums have leveling rules that can limit new thread post creations.

It seems this platform is too simple and I'm not even sure someone in WN gives a damn about ruling a better forum, since all concerns must be addressed either on Discord or through the InkStone chat.
It doesn't have a TOS forcing newcomers to agree with terms of use (which would prevent spam and also prevent forbidden posts). It doesn't have polls. It doesn't have subforums...
Like, even the basic free proboards have it more organized.

I'd also recommend summed up posts for re-occuring topics.

Like why does every author has to make a new forum post if his/her novel isn't vetted right now but participates in WPC/WFP?

Make one single post for that where authors can mention their books. If an editor took care of the book, he deletes the entry from the forum post.

    Avoids tons of that posts

Also you could do one official-suggestions post where all suggestions are gathered by webnovel_official so people can easily see, what has already been suggested.

This type of forum, where there are no subforums but only one big cluster of posts, which you can sort by tags, is totally fine.....but make more use of structure and tags.....

Everytime I look into discord or the forum I'm wondering where I do have to apply for part-time working for WN to make organisation a bit better
