With this system? What i call supporting author or translator is by spending your power stone. More accounts more power stones. And buy ss you mainly supporting qidian, not translator or author

Don't come here with an attitude thinking you are superior by giving money to translators because you aren't. The money that you spend is all going into QI's pockets. Translators and authors would only profit from premium in a few months

I never said anything like that, because in fact I do support some of them but you don't see me here being like a prick and thinking I am superior to others who can't afford to support said translators.
And no I am no spokesperson i am just stating the facts, and based on the same logic as you I can ask you who nominated you the as spokesperson for QI.
You even said you share an account with somebody you know so how can you say with a straight face you don't game the system.

Imagine there are 100 premium chapters, and you bought the packs that gave you the triple the stones you bought as bonus. If i buy 75 chapters with those bonus stones the translator doesn't get any money, he only gets money on the last 25 chapters that I used the bought stones.
So till this massive influx of bonus SS ends translators won't get a single can't of the premium. Immortal Mortal for example were one of the novels that started the premium and if they keep the pace they have currently the novel will end before this massive influx ends. What does this means? It means they are gaining a lot less money from this system.

Lomacris Have any of the TL for the story spoken up? Rather than speculate I don't quite believe they would just work for free. I know I wouldn't work for free, so while I won't say that they are getting paid something I would imagine there is some kind of deal worked out between them and Qidian. My bet is Qidian bought the chapters outright or maybe they agreed to a hold on funds if Qidian provides them with another hot story to TL. I don't know how it all works but being on payroll now I don't imagine people just get to choose w/e novel they like.
You just don't know these kinds of things unless one of them speaks up. Speculation is the devil.
Gamblejay I don't speculate. The translator of Immortal Mortal spoke about that on Patreon.
He even said his income reduced 40% from what it was before.
There were various threads formed about this issue in particular, so you should inform yourself before speaking about something you are not sure

Look at what the OP originally said, it's about the current premium scheme not working out to his liking. I suggested a way that's more cost-effective given the current system. You singled me out because I paid for SS, then mocked me for it. You got issues, man.

Even if I'm sharing account with someone (because I have no CC), it doesn't change the fact that I also give out money to pay for SS so that we both enjoy the novel without having to use up SS twice for the same chapter. Paying for SS doesn't make me "superior" but I do get to have the bragging rights for contributing.
What I meant by "ingrate" is that you're dissing Qidian from where the novels came from. They give you free chapters and you treat them like crap, talking shit about them and convincing other readers to sabotage the premium system. The world doesn't revolve around you. Grow up.

So prior to all of this Team Sparrow who didn't pay a attention to the discussion or missed it in the discord it sounds like. Were able to release all these wonderful paid chapters on their Patreon for supporters. They weren't cutting a check to the Author I bet. Betting they weren't cutting a check to the Copyright holder either. Were the editors getting a cut or just the Translators who were apart of "Team Sparrow". So people were fine when they collected a check and made others pay for special chapters to read. But now that everyone who should be getting paid is and they call it premium it's not ok?
So yes, I imagine their pay was cut when they finally had to start letting others in on a slice of the pie. Who should have been getting paid from the get-go. Since Qidian was able to shut the Patreon down for that story it looks like, I can easily guess they did not have the permission from the Copyright holder. Did Qidian go after them for all the money they made before hand? Did the Author ever see a single cent of the money they made?
Interesting questions I think, perhaps you could go find out so that I can be well "Informed"
brokenteeth for now i think power stone give more support to translators and authors to promote theit work. Someone need to drawback their step to walk further. Its never give them seatback by you to promote their work and for now when bonus spirit stones still everywhere then qidian still holding your money before they give them. And last thing, promoting their novel is one kind of support to them, not only by giving your money to them
Gamblejay Qidian gave authorization for us to host advanced chapters on Patreon before they had their monetization set up. So in a way, it was a good will act that allowed translators to earn more for the time being before Qidian set up the monetization system.
People seem to forget that and become entitled, thinking that they deserve all the money they receive from Patreon.
Similarly, no other translator outside Webnovel is authorized to monetize their translations from Patreon or any other means.
