    The phone in his hand fell on the ground and he bent down to pick it up. He wanted to shout and tell the person that it was him who bumped into him blindly but when he looked up, he was too stunned to speak. A woman. No, a fucking weapon.

    Her eyes reminded him of volcanoes, Fire, Sky, Earth, and water. All together. Different colors scattered across her beautiful iris. One iris was a peculiar shade of dark green and another deep blue just like ocean water. Specks of light brown could also be seen in those deadly eyes. Those cat-shaped eyes. No one could have such beautiful heterochromatic eyes.

    Who knew a disorder could look this beautiful!

    The woman's long, dark brown hair was put in a bun, but small tendrils fell from the sides, brushing her long and slender neck, where he imagined the pulse of her artery would pound against his mouth when he put it there. 'Fuck! Long Jie. You are fucking engaged.'he reminded himself.

    Never in his wildest dreams, he had imagined a woman could affect him, in the most peculiar way.

    The wind blew against her, sending a sweet scent in the air around him.The way her body sway in a conventional suit, the way she narrowed her eyes on the waiter who clashed with her, knocking her into him, was etched in his mind.

    It wasn't even her face or body that was the weapon. It was those cat-shaped eyes, colorful and full of secrets, that were dangerous. As unpredictable and hazardous as any man he'd ever stood against.

    He was right when he told his brother that he had never encountered a woman he could admire. Never in his life, he had ever encountered a woman like the divinity in front of him.

    He came out of la-la land when he heard something break. It was his cat-eyes creating havoc.' Not your long Jie ' he reminded himself. She threw all the dishes on the floor that he supposed the waiter was taking to another room.

    "Cat-eyes," he murmured in a low voice. The name fit her perfectly.

    "You can't do this" the waiter yelled at the woman.

    " oh, I can't?" She smiled mockingly, those cherry lips curled up.

    The way she curled them and uttered the honeyed-poisonous words, he wondered what they tasted like.

    If they would taste as sweet as her honey voice.

    He was standing beside her but unfortunately, she did not notice him. The woman who accompanied by her was watching the scene calmly as if it was a regular affair.

    " I will call the manager madam. You can't behave like a mad woman," the waiter reacted.

    Long Jie had a sudden urge to twist his neck with his hand but he knew cat-eyes did not need him to intervene. He was too mesmerized by the way her eyes changed their color when she was furious or how they sparkle under the luminous lights and he would be a lucky bastard, if he got to infuriate her every day.

    " Who?" She asked him calmly.

    He thought he missed something. Ugh, he was too mesmerized to concentrate on what she was saying.

    " What- Who?" The waiter fired back.

    She took a step forward and laid her hand on his throat. Long Jie wanted to remove her hands from his neck and tell her she did not need to touch his dirty neck.

    She twisted it lightly but not too lightly.

    "Bastard, as much as I would like to draw this out, I am late for a meeting and I hate being late," Cat eyes stated, as the woman beside her stepped forward and dialed a number.

    " Fuck you bitch" the man gasped for air. He was slapped by the tiny woman who stepped forward earlier.

    " Mind your tongue. Young man. Answer what my boss is asking or we have other methods too" she said and showed him something on her phone which he guessed was a short video.

    His eyes widened in realization. There were some people one should never mess with. And she occurred to be one of them. He wanted to step in but he was too interested to see her in action.

    " President " A familiar voice called him out and he turned to find his assistant standing there.

    " I'm sorry president. I was stuck in traffic. Please this way, the driver is waiting for you" he said.

    He turned his head back to find the woman but she was gone.

    He wondered if the woman was an illusion?

    But she was too beautiful to be an illusion.

    He wanted to kill his secretary for coming at the wrong time. But he couldn't blame him.

    But if Gu Tian knew what his boss was thinking, he would get the shock of his life. The cold block of ice was interested in a woman!!

    Long Jie walked out of the restaurant and entered the back seat of the car.

    " President Long," His assistant Gu tian said.

    " hmm"

    " Master long called to inform about the meeting with your in-laws," he notified his boss.

    In-laws. Xins. Xin Zhenyi. No cat eyes.

    Sigh!

    Men like him could not afford a woman like cat-eyes. They were lethal and the reason why empires fell.
