DoaOfOne well you can't blame it if each chapter had 2000 to 2800 word. Didn't you get 17 to 22 SS everyday? You can unlock each day or read other novel. It's not like qidian only have 1 book, true?

Volko098 at least they keep updating rather than dropping it ... It's not bad. Look other novel that being drop more than a few months. Premium make tranlator keeping update, so waiting 2 or 3 years is normal. Didn't the writer also need a few years to finish 1 novel? 
Ventus_Hikari no problems for Premium, just not at these crazy prices. I can buy, not just read, actually BUY many many books for the price of a single novel in premium here. So no ... qidian lost a reader .... I mean, even spending 5$/month to get 2-5 chapters in advance every day is a much better deal than this.

It costs about 20c/chapter if you buy $10 worth of Spirit Stones(500, not including bonus). For Immortal Mortal i'm on chapter 776(hit the paywall around 10-15 chapters ago), and there are 156 to catch up on. If each chapter is 20 cents, that'd be 31.2$ if I want to catch up ._.
$10/500 = .02 US dollars
if it costs around 10 spirit stones per chapter, then .02 times 10 = .20
20 cents times 156 chapters = 31.20$
unfortunately that's not a price i'm willing to pay, if they were willing to change it to a subscription based service, maybe i'd be willing to pay $25 max per month to read 4-5 novels.
btw can't use * in post, might want to fix that.

The fact is, Chinese novels are word bloats, as they intend, they charge per word which encourages long bloated descriptions aswell as info-dumps, the fact is this sort of method doesn't work in the west, could you imagine if game of thrones got the same plot progression in 20 books as they do currently in 5? Do you think people would still pay for them?

Cultivation chat group - I still have free chapters to read but I dont think that it is worth to continue as there is already like 10 chapters and each is 7 stones and there will be more coming.....
Release that witch - I am on chapter 760 and there is almost 100 chapters more and each costs around 7 stones..

I read a lot, but I started to ask myself a question: "Is it worth it?" even if I do invest money into this I can just limited amount, I am a student after all and even if I earned some money it is a lot to pay anyway..., just to read daily my consumption of spirit stones would be enormous...
I would spend around 60 stones a day if all novels that I read had just 1 new chapter. If there will be more chapters coming it can be twice as much.
60stones (1 day) times 7 (1 week) = 420 stones a week, and in 1 month it would be: 420stones times 4 = 1680 stones a month!!
- and there will be much more chapters coming out a day, not just one, so it can be 3360stones a month and that is like 60 USD a month.... basically I am forced to abandon a lot of novels...I dont have that much money to spend. And there can be more novels that will become premium, more chapters that I will be forced to not read because I would have no money to do so.
