  • Cantiara slander becomes the tool of the losers. ¯(ツ)

Didn't you just serve yourself? I mean indirectly or directly calling everyone who doesn't pay those absurd prices immoral and selfish? O_ô

Let's stop this here, it's useless anyway

    • Cantiara Don't worry, paying readers who can afford to buy and still have some decency and integrity will still purchase the coins.

Wow, that's quite something... to call people who have the actual integrity to point out the bullshinaynay that is happening here, the bad guys. Big words for the frog in the pot~
But hey, maybe you can enlighten us why the prices are ~10 times that of qidians. (to my knowledge, might have been a different site)

Ooooh yes.... i forgot, they said the staff is so e x p e n s i v e and they have to pay "fair" wages... (apparently fairer than qidians?) meanwhile they skimp on the translators wages
Sooo... Tencent must to be very happy or unhappy about the extra payments, as webnovel is pushing hard o_ô

I'll support the service more, when they become reasonable.

      • As promising as it was, the 1st version was just bait to lure people in so I doubt it will return to it.
Can't tell anything about battery usage as I only use the app for 10-15minute per day, basically 2 chapters of the only novel I still care enough about to follow.

      • ealdgyth There are soooo many better solutions to make it consumer friendly and still quite profitable, but they tend to always pick one of the worst options.
After all there shouldn't be too many willing to pay hundreds of bucks for shallow; low quality novels which you still don't own even after the purchase as they get eventually locked up again!

        • That's how it is, for months already actually, they simply don't care about their costumer
and only care about the money.
If you want to read those chapters you'll have to buy them again, or visit the dark side of the internet.
If you want qidian/webnovel to change their ways... vote with your wallet

          • Caretaker You will certainly overcome your CN webnovel addiction at some point.
I've been through the same for the last 3 years or so, jumping from one webnovel to another, most of the time because of stockpiling attempts. (I tell you, 1 chapter per month is hell)
Though Qidian was quite nice in the beginning, but their greed took the better of them. So if the unfair pricing isn't issue enough to stop reading...
Anyway, the best way I found to overcome the CN-webnovel addiction, is to replace it with another addiction!
            Tada~ :D
Read novel of higher quality! It's that simple.
Genius! I know, no need to thank me~ B)

I might have an biased opinion here, but from all novels I've read so far (web-,light- & regular novels), CN-webnovel are the absolute bottom in literally everything but wordcount. There are exceptions of course, but the far majority is just that... plain. They are not necessary bad, but if you read the same lines over and over again they grow dull and duller and if characters(side kicks/harem members/etc) & antagonists feel like they are on sale on walmart in discount pacts it's not even enjoyable any more. It's easy to something better if you remove the CN-tag.

            • It would already help if they would add a refund option for each chapter... hehehe

              • angkong Yea, it's quite easy to remember each and every journey of those MC's... because they are basically identical & the actual highlights of each novel are rather few in number, so it's of course easy rolleyes

                • Wow... the hate is real... honestly....
