So my question is if it was truly Webnovels way of trying to get readers to branch out and try new genres, why did they have to take away a third of the fast passes we receive daily. That means in a week we are down by 7 chapters for whatever story we actually want to read.

Webnovel could have just kept the original 3 all-work fast passes and maybe add in 1 genre specific fast pass to try to get readers to branch out. This seems much more viable to me since to the readers they aren’t losing anything but they may actually truly end up enjoying a new genre. Of course I’m sure this wasn’t the reason Webnovel made this change. It was to decrease the fast passes free readers got and force them to cash out some money right?

This is not getting Webnovel any goodwill from my end at all, and I’m sure many other readers feel the same. You say it’s bad for readers to claim they will go to pirating cites to read since it undermines the authors work and I agree. However you don’t make it easy to support and stay with Webnovel with how anti consumer you become with each new update, ruining the reader experience.

Please fixed it, I believe it is a mistake from web novel. Give us the old fp for all genre evrytime checking. It is wasting time watching the ad for free fp, but you cannot use it.

Daoist349688 Actually, you don't have to watch ads to earn a fast pass from check-in. You just have to claim the fp when the pop up asks you to check-in every day. All watching the ad does is give you 5 exp.
