Here are a few points that web novel platform shape the novel:
- I don't know why the platform force number of release chapter per day (in the contract) but that thing might
has a lot of impact how the novel was written. When there is a pressure on author, usually the author will try to make chapter just for readable or more words but less meaning. Rather than creative or unique most author will come with same thing (copy others author novel part or completely) why? because time is pressing them. conclusion less creative more chapters. Author who has written novel for more 10 years doesn't mean he has more creative than new comer since the requirement is just for number rather creative.
- The way it choose the "trial read" or author pick, most of them is for new audience. I believe mostly likely the marketer will only look at number (number of click or view) rather than satisfaction. I don't think that is the right marketing strategy because the container has many holes that leak water no matter how much you fill the container will not be full. what does it affect the novel? Well the novel might be repeat or has too much similar content to the famous novel - why? because this kind of novel attract the new audience but for old audience its tasteless. Do you ever feel like you lose taste in novel, it isn't you it just you eat the same food and it become tasteless.
- The price of Novel is valued by view not by content, why? because view mean "money" so Author most likely choose which gene or type has more audience rather choose from their passion or creative imagination. Cannot blame them since money drive the world around.

Last I would like web novel platform to help or has a education session for new author since it is a mutual benefit.

SpiriteStone - I don't know why the platform force number of release chapter per day (in the contract)

Er, what? They don't. Authors are not forced to release a chapter per day in the contract. Perhaps if you want MGS, but you certainly are not contractually obligated to release one chapter a day.

If your chosen genre wasn't able to attract a good number audience, then perhaps your "creative imagination" wassn't as impressive as you thought it was. While I do sympathize with people writing in niche genres complaining that they don't have as much audience as a mainstream genre, the challenge isn't so much about getting people to like your niche genre but making your story appealing to people outside your niche audience. What's the difference? Basically, instead of complaining, "why don't people like X genre?" you should think about "how can I make my story, which is X genre, more appealing?" Because if nobody reads your story, perhaps you weren't as creative as you thought you were.

Tomoyuki Hello, I'm not an author nor do I wrote novel.

Clearly I don't complain as author or anything I'm just tired to find a good one in the garbage can. What my point is most author try to do thing they don't good at. But I do disagree ".. What's the difference?"
It is total difference, a person like to eat apple wouldn't choose a banana

SpiriteStone Hello, I'm not an author nor do I wrote novel.

So why are you making false assumptions and complaining about something that's untrue?

        SpiriteStone ".. What's the difference?"

Did you just select one sentence from my post, put it totally out of context, and totally ignore everything else that I wrote? I literally explained what the difference was, but you totally ignored it, pretended to "disagree" and made a statement that totally missed my point. Basically, it's not the readers' fault that they like apples. If you aren't able to make your banana look or taste attractive (I don't know, maybe you used too much sugar when baking a banana cake or banana pie), then that's your limitation. Don't blame people for liking apples. Also why are you misquoting me? You're the one who wrote about the price of novels being valued by views and not by content, but you attributed that entire thing to me, even though I said none of that. Why are you being dishonest?
