I paid for and read 10 privilege chapters I bought at the end of April. I got a notification that the story has been updated today but It does not show up as new chapters on the table of contents. Does this mean I have to wait for 10 new chapters to be released before I can access the new chapters?

Privilege is a monthly thing where you pay one coin to support the author and preview said author’s stockpile. If you wish to pay for the (Privilege)chapters you are seeing, then you may. The chapters you have purchased will continue to be available to you.
When the month changes, you have to pay that one coin again to access the author’s stockpile again. Once you do, their new chapters will be available to you.
If you only want to use fast passes to read, then yes, you must wait until they release ten chapters. But if your are ok with supporting the author whose work you enjoy by buying chapters, then all you need to do is pay that one coin again to have access.
The point of privilege, I think, is so Webnovel can properly gauge the marketability of the work. More privilege readers, more marketing support through features and ads. I hope this helped

Sheila_Smith_9164 If you go to the last chapter available to you and swipe up, it will take you to the recommendation page. There should be a banner across the top asking if you would like to join privilege. That’s where you’ll pay the one coin to view the stockpile, and decide if you’d like to pay for the available chapters.
If that doesn’t work, come back here and post the book’s name, and what chapter you are on. I can see from my end if there’s a discrepancy(chapters available to me Vs you, and total chapter count). I’m only an author, and not a Webnovel editor or official, but I will do what I can to help.
