I want to try reading a book/novel with a male protagonist, but I want it to have nothing to do with any romance or harem even if its only a romantic subplot. I barely read any male lead novels, because of these reasons!

If you know the novel, "Omniscient Reader's Viewpoint" and "Trash of the Count's Family" then you should probably know my preference for a male lead book/novel.

Rather than a woman accompanying the male protagonist throughout his journey, I'd like it better if it was a man. You know KDJ and YJH, Cale Henituse and Choi Han? Then you should probably know what I'm talking about.

If you know any translated novel or original books with the kind of preference I mentioned above, please recommend me anything you know here.

Maybe you can check out my work. I'm not gonna pretend that my novel is the most unique story out there but all I'll say that it is different than the stories you'd normally find here. It's a fantasy work, urban fantasy to be specific, that is heavy on worldbuilding and character centric. It does not have game mechanics or cultivations or lovable MC with OP powers...or revenge-seeking angsty MC with OP powers. It also has no harem sub-plot (or even a main romance plot) nor do I plan to have one (mostly 'cause its a pain in the arse to make it believable). It does have romance parts to it but more of a side piece and a just in general feel to it.
It's about a guy who does not feel very special who happens to find something that might make him special with heavy costs and sacrifices attached to it.
